This product is useless. The product was fairly easy to assemble and seemed to be durable. However, the product does not operate as it should. Operated correctly when empty but once seed and/or fertilizer was added the neither dispensing wheel nor spindle would move. Thus no product was spread. Note: Even tried with less than half full (Maybe 10lbs.) still didn't work. By the time I got around to the task my return window had expired. So....

Good value for the price. It's not commercial grade but good enough for home use. It's better and cheaper than the ones commonly found at the box stores. I got the broadcast spreader. Easy assembly and great for taller folks, I'm 6'3". I spread my first 50lb bag and had good control at low and brisk speeds. The wheels are good too, not the cheap plastic junk. Time will tell on durability but for 80ish bucks, it would be cheaper to replace every year compared to what I was paying for a lawn chemical service.

This is a great value and is probably as good as some of the professional ones. I’ve had some issues with the Scotts streaking my yard but this one throws a good 4 to 6 feet radius. I fine-tune it, but it really is working well.

This is a cheaply constructed spreader. It disintegrated on me during the first use while trying to adjust the spreader’s throw. After unsuccessfully trying to repair it went to the dumpster. Save your money!

False advertisement, description says it can sprinkle salt, but clearly marked on the hopper to not use salt, assembly took longer than you would expect. Instructions were not in order had to disassemble to put washers and spacer on before feeding shaft through assembly. Only 1 tire rotates the seed sifter so could give poor seed drops. Feels cheap for 70$. Cannot fold up for storage.
