It works pretty well for filling tires and such but at 30 lbs it's not easy to lug around. Directions for break- in are ok, just the Chinese to English are not very good. Has a separate air intake filter housing with Zero installation instructions, took a bit of searching to locate the threaded hole where it goes. No hose or quick coupler with it, not even the cheap curly hose, so be prepared to purchase additional fittings. It is fairly noisy as is every air compressor I've ever owned, although advertised as quieter. Have only used this just today to fill my tires, but during the break-in period a while back this little compressor chugged right along and appears to be constructed to last a long time. Easy for this ol' man to carry it out to the garage. A muffler came as an accessory and works well: the compressor noise level in my garage is low, very tolerable. . There's only two switches: ON/OFF and the regulator to set a max psi: my car takes 42 psi so it's set at 60. Compressor takes less than a minute to reach full pressure in the holding tank before shutting down temporarily until you use it, at which time it kicks on to make up for lost psi. I have it hooked up to a 50 foot air hose and tire inflator nozzle so I can access all four tires of my car parked outside the garage without moving the compressor. In case I must move the compressor, I've set it on a small dolly for convenience. Hope this helps! ... show more

Figuring out setting, safety valves etc. was little complicated but once it is set, it has power. I was able to fill Sierra 1500 GMC truck rear tire, I own a tractor, it filled it's big rear tire as well. Now it has only gallon reservoir. I purchased this mainly to fill my truck and camper tires which require 80 - 85lbs of pressure. The unit DOES perform and deliver these pressures but frankly I was a bit surprised at the build of the Vevor unit. Not tools are included, ok I guess - but really? The pressure control knobs are plastic! The unit feels cheap - like a kids toy. Also, the images give the impression this is a somewhat larger unit...the Vevor 4.8 is about the size of a medium suit case. As stated earlier: It does what it claims but I am skeptical of the build and it's longevity. ... show more
