I had a Stanley 5 gallon air compressor for many years. Unfortunately it was at the point where the air started leaking out so it would run constantly but never get enough pressure to blow out fans or blow up inflatables. I looked at a wide variety of air compressors, I knew I did not want a large one but I wanted the power of a large one. I saw this one 2 hp and a 6 gallon tank. It was perfect for what I use an air compressor for. It was delivered today, I was so excited !!!!! I opened the box and took it out and thought that maybe they had sent me the wrong one- it was honestly as big as my Stanley was and just as light. They did not it was exactly what I had ordered I was so surprised at how could this little air compressor put out that much pressure. It did not fail me at all I could not believe the power it has. I assembled the wheels and handles which was very easy to do. The instructions are very easy to read and to follow along with. This air compressor is so quiet, I mean it is an air compressor but not loud at all. The air pressure was up in less than 60 seconds- I tried blowing out the dust in my fans, it may be small but very mighty because the storage tank is almost 7 gallons it holds a lot of air. When the air compressor did have to refill itself - it was so fast that there is no pause in your work, it keeps right up with you. I am so pleased with this air compressor I would recommend this to anybody that wants the power and pressure of a larger one but does not want the weight or size of a bigger one. That I can take this anywhere is wonderful and that it is on wheels makes it even better.

Nice product - very quiet (for a compressors) fills receiver very quickly. Gauges & fittings all nice quality. Light enough to wheel around or even pick up to wherever it needs to be. A bargain at the price!

Powerful and not loud at all!!! The only down side is when it gets hot it’s shuts down for 5 mins for safety purposes to prevent damage to the motor, but it cause a delay to your work project. But overall a great compressor with a quick refill of air.

1st off. Install the muffler caps to the exhaust. Cant miss it, you can look at it and know what to do. That is NOT in the instructions. Next, the instructions say to turn the red valve clockeise and run for 30 min. That valve is only air pressure to the hose. What you need to do is, open the drain valve on the bottom of the tank. Run it for 30 min. Turn off, let it cool. Close the drain valve and your done. The motor is VERY QUIET and fills the 10 gallon tank in under 1 min. But you can take the instructions and throw them away. Completey useless. Over all, very happy with it and seems to be decent quality.

Worked great and sounded great when I put it together. Had it sitting in the garage for the winter and when I took it out in the spring, it would not turn the Pistons over. It just sat there and hummed. Piece of junk.

I find myself buying more Vevor products as of late, they are actually good quality products and a good value! Don’t kid yourself, this is not a whisper quiet compressor but it’s well built, and much lighter than comparable compressors which is my main reason for the purchase. The design makes it easier to transport, the handle extension is great when you’re 6’2” and physically challenged! I’ve used it quiet a bit with no issues and I hope I’m not jinxing myself by extolling praise, but if anything changes, I will update my review. You’re not going to be running a DA sander all day with it but it truly is a good little compressor!

This pump is extremely quiet. Without being a very loud speaking person, and with having kids around, everyone can hear what everyone is saying without having to strain an ear or rather have your ear being rattled off by a loud noise. It's very quiet. Also, the other thing that was as advertised was it's fill rate. 6 and 1/2 gallons of 120 lb of pressure and it does it and a minute or less. I've got three cars and 6 bicycles. And this fills everything up maybe runs to or three times between all of the vehicles if they're down about 5 lb of pressure. That is 5 lb of pressure in each tire. Plus I have air assisted shocks that need to be pumped. So it's pretty impressive what it can do. But just as other people have said, it is voltage picky. But honestly I shopped around a lot and for the price you can't go wrong with this compressor and if you can put up with the voltage issue it's all good. I read several reviews on several websites and I can confirm personally that it does not like being run on multiple extension cords. I don't know what the deal is or maybe it just wants to be run on lots of high quality extension cords but it runs fine on one "cheapie" extension cord. It's not even tripping anything when it does this. The overvolt protection is not tripped and none of the breakers are tripped. Put it on a single extension cord, and bang that works fine again. There were some other reviews from some other reviews from some people saying that the unit overheats, perhaps but some other websites were suggesting removing the air filters, i did, and it still runs extremely quiet. Unless you're in a dirty environment, I don't think you need air filters. Honestly I had a couple compressors that never had an air filter and ran fine for 8 years a piece. The last tiny air compressor I had expired because it had a blown air gauge because somebody smashed it. And that air compressor was in a construction zone being used heavily with a nail gun and no air filter. I'm not sure why air filters are even a thing but it ran fantastic without it. So in a nutshell, I can confirm it's very quiet, holds lots of air for a fair amount of use, normal use doesn't seem to show any signs of overheating at all, and it is voltage picky to some extent. Regardless of the extension cord phenomenon, it's definitely a fantastic buy.
