Perfect compressor for a small garage like mine. I use it after washing my car to blow out all the little places a towel won't get and It's nice for airing up tires. The cord could be longer, I have to use a extension cord. Its not that loud so you don't have to worry about your ears.

It's been almost 2 years and it still works. Looks good. However its not as quiet as I would have hoped and there are alternatives at a similar price that are quieter. However a good work horse. BTW don't use it with a thin gauge extension cord it won't even start! Gotta use a thicker gauge and its fine ... show more

Have only used this just today to fill my tires, but during the break-in period a while back this little compressor chugged right along and appears to be constructed to last a long time. Easy for this ol' man to carry it out to the garage. A muffler came as an accessory and works well: the compressor noise level in my garage is low, very tolerable. . There's only two switches: ON/OFF and the regulator to set a max psi: my car takes 42 psi so it's set at 60. Compressor takes less than a minute to reach full pressure in the holding tank before shutting down temporarily until you use it, at which time it kicks on to make up for lost psi. I have it hooked up to a 50 foot air hose and tire inflator nozzle so I can access all four tires of my car parked outside the garage without moving the compressor. In case I must move the compressor, I've set it on a small dolly for convenience. Hope this helps! ... show more

At 2.2cfm @90 psi, it's great and really quiet. But the repairs it needed before startup do take a fair amount of time. The metal shot is tedious to remove through the drain hole. Use a small magnet to speed up the cleaning process. IT WILL RUST IMMEDIATELY IF THE IRON SHOT IS LEFT INSIDE WHEN MOISURE HITS IT. The drain valve is junk. The corrosion has the brass plug deteriorating beyond repair. The threads are gone, and doesn't seal between the inner and outer brass seal. It is a great $107 air compressor. After 2 hours of repair, $14 brass drain plug, and vacuuming steel shot from the carpet, I'd buy another. Good: Very Quiet, Fills Quick, and Great Value Bad: Corroded Parts, Air tanks left full of debris, gauge has leak. (1-2psi a day) Be aware of the issues. Not plug in and go ... show more
