I chose this heat press because I thought it was an automatic heat press but it’s not, the pressure is not up to par by no means, the manual is very difficult to understand, the display is often confusing, the heat is not evenly distributed, the settings don’t stay in memory, and I had to press multiple times to get my transfer to even stick. I have never had a heat press so I don’t have anything to compare but I would say this one is pretty mediocre at best. The instruction manual is a joke. I’ve watched all the videos I can find of other people using the machine and have wasted five shirts so far. I’ve had the machine since August 3, 2024 and took it out of the box last week (August 21, 2024). There are marks all over the machine as if it is used although I purchased a new one. I followed the temp recommendations in the manual and had a nice brown piece of transfer paper from roasting it. Two of seven shirts have been salvageable after spending 10x the amount of time it is supposed to take to make a shirt. ... show more

Pressure is terrible heating is uneven and even in the cup press it’s not regular which I held out hope for. I’ve burnt 3 cups already with it and have never done that with my prior presses. It’s at this point just to look good on my shelf because the only good thing about it is it’s pretty.
