I got this to survive hail season where I live. I bought a new vehicle and the moment after I bought it the hail storms began coming. This thing is great. One thing I have done since I live on a prairie: I added sandbags. I think I have about 580 pounds or so of sand on this to weigh it down. I want to convert all my bags to hard-sided water weights, but once I added more bags, it has not budged. I also bought the longer anchors that are sold here on Amazon, the ones with the spinners that go deeper into the ground. I am in a rental, so this is a non-permanent option to keep my vehicle safe and also reduce the bird crap that white vehicles seem to attract (I would've preferred a red vehicle, but I bought used to save money... sooo). I live in a high-wind area and all of this has helped me immensely. I will add more weights and likely remove the tarps for winter, but otherwise I think it will stay up for the at least 2 years I'm going to be here. If things change, I will get some buckets and concrete. The frame is sturdy and nice. My dad and I set it up one afternoon. Only thing I would change set-up wise is I would do the tarps before putting the rest of the legs on because otherwise you have to hop on a Little Giant to get them up and if you live in a windy area, that can be nerve wracking. So, in conclusion: it can work in windy areas, factor the costs of sand, sand bags/weights, concrete, anchors, etc., into the price of this, but it is nice. I have a small SUV and it fits fine beneath this little guy. I just zip it up if hail is coming and it stays stable. I could also probably set this up myself. (I also live alone, so this gives me some added privacy from my neighbors when leaving for work or coming back for lunch.) ... show more

I needed to replace the top on my Costco 10x20 portable garage/carport. One more good wind and it would be shredded and flapping in the wind like a flag. I bought this replacement top as someone said in their review that it would fit. Well folks, it fits beautifully and my husband and our good friend helped us install the cover over the top of our frame and original top. Value and Ease of Assembly is why the 5 Stars. Product is of reasonable quality given I paid $113 USD. If you have a 12x20 Portable Garage Cover this is pretty good bargain. Look for a sale on this product under $120 USD. I added an additional protection with a tarp on the roof that can be secured to Nylon Loops of this Product. ... show more

    • Fits ALEKO CP1020WH 10 X 20 Heavy Duty Steel Frame Carport Kit perfectly! Excellent product!

The ALEKO CP1020WH 10 X 20 Heavy Duty Steel Frame Carport Kit canopy measured Width: 9' 7-3/8" from exterior of tubing to exterior of tubing. Length 19' 8'1/2" from exterior of tubing to exterior of tubing. Height: 6' 5-3/8" from top of base to center of side tube. Roof peak 30" (calculated using trig). This would give 8' 11-3/8' total height, (calculated, not measured). Roof angle: 120 degrees Rafter length: 64-1/2" The measured width and length is smaller than both the Aleko and Vevore specs, which are both 10' x 20', however, the canopy fits perfect with just the right amount of stretch. I imagine that a canopy that was actually 10'x 20' wouldn't fit, being about 4' too wide and 4" too long for this canopy cover. Perhaps it would fit but I imagine that it would be really tight. I can't quite explain the dimensions discrepancy, but I am simply reporting what I measured and what worked for me. I am very pleased with the cover. I got the yellow, which looks really good with the white sides and front. It was less than $50 with tax and delivery; what a deal! The material is the 210g PE Woven Plastic. It feels thick and substantial. Absolutely no rain leakage. As I did with the last cover, I added additional grommets for the flaps that cover the corners down to the ground. I leave the tarp up year round and I feel that this step is necessary for durability. The grommet kit from Harbor Freight for $7 works well. I'll try to add some photos but phone issues currently. Did I mention it looks really good? I couldn't be more please with the purchase! ... show more

This fits the harbor freight 10 x 20 frame perfectly. If you’re like me and was concerned about the quality, it was higher quality than the harbor freight/Northern tool replacement covers. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This tent cover replacement is decent for what i paid for it. It is not as thick as the original cover but it can work with. I love that it came with bungees because sometimes i lose one or two. It was easy to set up and fit on the tent frame I already had. I’ll give an update the next couple of months on the durability of the tent cover replacement. Overall, it is good so far, just does not fit as snug as i would have liked. ... show more
