Sturdy although the plastic pieces will develop weak lighter colored spots if you try to dissemble after parts are snapped together. Excellent amount of features for fun. The vibrant colors and options really make for a delightfully delicious time. Pink and purple with blue, leans more feminine. Purchased in like new open box condition, Amazon verified, and it’s missing so many parts — 45 to be exact! Just want to shout out to the prior purchaser who stole all the items and returned it. Apparently it’s supposed to come with cones, cups, sprinkle maker, and 12 cans of playdough. Can’t comment on what wasn’t in the box for our purchase. ... show more

I don't typically write reviews but im so angry with this here I am. This is very cool looking buttt for almost 100 dollars it's a billion times worse than ikea furniture. You shouldn't have to do this much building for a toy. Glad I read reviews to assemble prior to gift giving. There are a lot of pieces to put together the entire thing is in pieces! There's 25 screws. The accessories aren't bagged just on top in the box. The directions are there and can be read but I can see someone having difficulty with these instructions. This will take a minimum of an hour to set up. I have given up for the night because with all playdough sets they use that annoying locking circle thing to connect pieces which are utterly impossible to pull back out. This should be changed esp. With the smaller sets so parents can take them apart when done for storage. I didn't align one of the bigger pieces before locking perfectly so now I need to take it off but that lock... impossible.. I am annoyed. Price and brand should've had this at least partially assembled, clearer instructions and someway to pull it back apart. No review on final product as I've given up for the night. ... show more

This is so so cute. All of the little details and things you can make with it are adorable. My 2 daughters (ages 4 and 9) have been playing with it non-stop since I assembled it. But it suuuuuuuucks to assemble. If you’ve ever bought toys from one of those brands like “American plastic toys” from the back aisle of gordmans or tjmaxx because you found a toy doll crib for $18 and it seemed like a great deal, til you got home and realized you had to put together 8,000 plastic pieces… this feels like that experience except more annoying because it’s not some random obscure cheap brand, it’s play doh, and this toy isn’t cheap. Usually I assemble their larger Christmas presents ahead of time because it’s more fun for them on Christmas morning, but I already had multiple things to assemble for Christmas and decided to give this to them wrapped still in the box, thinking it would be quickly popping a few big plastic pieces together for them to play. Wrong. It’s in a billion pieces. And before clicking those billion pieces together, you’re screwing the brackets onto each piece that allow you to click them together. So if this is a Christmas or bday gift, and you’re like me and prefer to be super prepared and build everything ahead of time so you can enjoy the day, do yourself a solid and assemble this early. Otherwise no complaints. Kids are obsessed. Comes with TONS of accessories and a lot of playdoh. ... show more
