My daughter absolutely loves this ice cream truck! She plays with it multiple times a day, and it’s been such a wonderful addition to her toys. It encourages her to talk and ask questions, which has been amazing for her communication skills. She’s also using her fine motor skills and staying focused on tasks while playing with it. This is so so cute. All of the little details and things you can make with it are adorable. My 2 daughters (ages 4 and 9) have been playing with it non-stop since I assembled it. But it suuuuuuuucks to assemble. If you’ve ever bought toys from one of those brands like “American plastic toys” from the back aisle of gordmans or tjmaxx because you found a toy doll crib for $18 and it seemed like a great deal, til you got home and realized you had to put together 8,000 plastic pieces… this feels like that experience except more annoying because it’s not some random obscure cheap brand, it’s play doh, and this toy isn’t cheap. Usually I assemble their larger Christmas presents ahead of time because it’s more fun for them on Christmas morning, but I already had multiple things to assemble for Christmas and decided to give this to them wrapped still in the box, thinking it would be quickly popping a few big plastic pieces together for them to play. Wrong. It’s in a billion pieces. And before clicking those billion pieces together, you’re screwing the brackets onto each piece that allow you to click them together. So if this is a Christmas or bday gift, and you’re like me and prefer to be super prepared and build everything ahead of time so you can enjoy the day, do yourself a solid and assemble this early. Otherwise no complaints. Kids are obsessed. Comes with TONS of accessories and a lot of playdoh. ... show more

I had already read reviews about the difficulty in assembly, so I'm glad I decided to put it together a couple of days before Christmas instead on Christmas Eve. It took me upwards of 3 hours to out together. Many of the pieces aren't labeled with letters and the pictures can make it tricky to figure out. This toy is honestly so cute! My son is obsessed with Play-Doh so we got this for him for Christmas. Assembly took a little over an hour but it honestly was not that bad once you get going. On the side of the truck there is a little "trunk" which is for storage and I love that feature. The large ice cream cone part on top that makes the swirl ice cream makes cute sounds and music. He has been making us ice cream all morning! It comes with so many accessories and Play-Dohs. The Play-Doh will mix colors when you use the swirl but Play-Doh costs like $0.50 and that's never bothered me. Highly recommend for your Play-Doh loving kids! If there is one downside it's that he has a hard time pushing down the handle to make the swirl and I have to help him with that but the more he uses it the easier it will get so I don't think that's a problem. That is the only reason it's getting 4 out of 5 stars for ease of use. 5/5 stars overall! Very happy with this purchase. ... show more
