Got it delivered on April 14 return window was may 12 not even 30 days.. But regardless I got it and couple days later put 25 eggs that where fertile in it set it to chicken. Did all that was said to be done. 21 days later not 1 chicken hatched . The eggs never turned and it said it was 100 degrees but after a temp probe it was 85. Waste of time and money and the warranty is out. Buyer be ware ... show more

Updated 7/10/23: Their reply, and I quote: "Thanks for your reply. There is no specific meaning in the number of beep times. Best regards, Vixest customer support" Updated 7/09/23: One beep code. Five beeps. Two beeps. Your manual does not explain all the different beep codes. Can you explain what all the possible beep codes mean? I am using your incubator, and so far... so good! Tomorrow is Lock-Down day! But I need to know what all the different beeps mean. Two problems. 1) Their manual says to contact them by email for more rollers. My 36-egg only came with 7 rollers. I need 3 more as I am raising Quail. I contacted them and they said "NO, we do not break packages". So I made my own and use rubber bands to turn them with the adjacent rollers; NOT a good solution but it works FOR NOW. 2) The fan is very noisy. Fortunately, I work with computers and found the exact same size, voltage and amps and it is MUCH QUIETER now. Almost inaudible. Otherwise, the unit performs quite well and I am in day-three of incubation. The controls are understandable, intuitive, and the battery backup feature tests out fine. I might order another if I can get more rollers and a quieter fan. Otherwise I'll shop around. ... show more

Hatching in my other incubator I get about 90% plus hatch rate on my chicks or ducks and this one I'm getting less than 50 %. Also the way it holds the eggs in between the rollers the egg seem to go and all different directions

This incubator is on the more affordable side for all of the functions and features that it offers. However, performance wise it only partially does the job. It doesn't stay at the temperature it should and while you may get a hatchling I would not put all of my eggs in one incubator...
