Veveline is the brand that my oldest boy’s hoverboard is that we bought him about 1.5 years ago. His is awesome, goes speedily and the batter life is awesome! I researched hoverboards again this year for my next oldest boy and couldn’t find any in my price range that had consistently good reviews and the one I had bought before doesn’t exist any longer. Since this had the same brand name and was orange I thought that surely it’d be the same quality. Well, I was mistaken. It’s a tad bit smaller, beeps crazily if you try to go to max speed (which is slower than my oldest boys fastest speed) and the batter also starts beeping that it’s dying about 10 minutes after he’s ridden it. Don’t get me wrong, you still have 10-15 minutes after that before it completely dies but no one really wants to hear it beep for that long. I’m pretty disappointed in the battery life and wouldn’t recommend this particular hoverboard to others. ... show more

    • Bummed! BUT THEY FIXED THE ISSUE
*UPDATE* Turns out the only problem was a faulty charger. I initially contacted the company about returning it but after troubleshooting it with the person from the company I decided to hold off on returning it and letting them send out a new charger. I can not express enough how easy to deal with and nice they were. We got the new charger 2 days ago and haven’t had a problem since. Sure it was inconvenient to have my kids’ gift mess up but I’ve learned to accept that things happen & I’m certain this company didn’t intend to send a faulty part. If anyone runs into an issue with their board, contact the company. They were prompt with replying & very apologetic. As much as my kids love this board sharing it has become a bummer for them so I may be purchasing another in the near future :) It was super cool...for about 30 mins. Every time my kids try to use it, it only works for about 2 mins and then beeps like crazy with the battery symbol lit up. I put it on the charger & it charged for around 5 mins. Then the light went from yellow to green. I have tried charging it again but now the charger does not work. Happy Easter to us, UGH! ... show more

When I first followed the directions to calibrate it, I didn't touch the hoverboard and it was leaning forward. I thought it was supposed to stand in it's natural state when calibrating. I'm glad I tested it before Christmas because the controls were completely off. I was about to return as I thought it was faulty. It wasn't until I watched youtube that when you calibrate it, you need to hold the board level so that it is not leaning forward or backward and in line with each other. That isn't clear in the directions that came with it, but it worked perfectly after. Christmas wasn't ruined lol. ... show more

Good hoverboard but be aware there's a minimum weight. Never would I think that would matter but my very skilled 3 year old LOVES to ride on her sisters older generation hoverboards so we got this one for her for Christmas. It vibrates insanely crazy when she gets on but works great for my bigger girls. It took us some time to realize it was probably a safety mechanism for younger kids. This could be a plus for some people bc it definitely kept my toddler off it. It wouldn't ride and shook. But it was a con for me bc she can ride better than any older kid and it won't work for her bc shes 34 pounds. Just an FYI. ... show more

My son loooooves his hoverboard. The speakers are easy to connect and have a decent volume. The light effects in the sides are awesome. It is sturdy and esthetically well made. EXCEPT THE BATTERY!!! My son may get to enjoy about an hour or so before it dies out. We’ve charged it for long periods and still it dies out very fast. My son is a slim 6 yr old kid.
