First the positive, this is a heavy weight, good quality jean material. But the oversized cut is not flattering at all. I compared it to my standard Levi's jean jacket (with the same clothes under), and this oversized jacket added 15 pounds to my look by comparison. I am 5'6 and 150 pounds; I ordered large. It just had a lot of think material and a boxy shape. I like the idea of the hand pockets, but again that just added layers to the bulky look. It did not shrink upon washing and drying, and I had to iron down the fringe in the back. I can only see myself wearing this as a top layer to a bonfire or apple orchard, when I had hoped it would be cute to wear out to lunch or shopping. If I had not washed it, I would try sizing down to medium to see if that improved the situation.

I really liked this but it felt too big. I was looking for slightly oversized and it felt like I was wearing my dads old jacket. The material was nice but it had an odd smell. I probably could have gotten the smell out but I returned it. I attached a photo when I tried it on. I had planned to wear it to a concert but just wasn't what I was looking for. I had ordered it with only a few days to spare because as I said I wanted it for a concert. Had I had more time to exchange I probably would have ordered a size down because overall I did like it.
