Description
The Vestil PAL-21 steel double-scissor pallet puller can be used with a chain and a forklift truck (sold separately) to pull a loaded pallet across a smooth floor to a convenient spot for lifting, transporting, or unloading. This pallet puller is made of steel, which is resistant to wear and corrosion. The double-scissor mechanism allows the jaw to open up to 3" wide. Spurs on the heads of the jaws help provide a firm grip. This pallet puller has a pulling capacity of 5,000 lb. and weighs 25 lb. The jaws measure 2-3/4" high and can open up to 3" wide. The pallet puller is suitable for use with a chain with a grab hook (sold separately). This product is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.Pallets are low platforms that can support heavy loads, and that can be lifted and transported using a pallet truck or forklift truck. Pallets can be made of wood, polyethylene, steel, aluminum, cardboard, or other materials. Loads may be bundled and secured to the pallet using straps or stretch wrap. Four-way pallets can be lifted and moved with a pallet truck or forklift truck from any side. Pallets may be color-coded for identifying and segregating different types of loads, or to indicate load capacity. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) recognizes six standard pallet sizes, with the most common size in North America being 48 x 40 inches (W x D). Pallets without a bottom deck are called skids.
