This worked really well for my work laptop. I use an external monitor and the laptop was just taking up too much desk space. It just happens that it's the same color and finish as the laptop. Very sturdy. Has a nice anti-scratch pads for holding the laptop. It was a little tricky getting the clamping right. If you plan of removing the laptop once in a while you need to slightly back off of the clamping force so it slides out easier.

Used this to clear up desk space for my Razer Blade 15" gaming setup, and man it really was a game changer. The stand is well-built, and sturdily holds my laptop in place. The adjustments hold in place good enough for me to continuously take my laptop out and back in the stand, and it still holds it's firm clamp. On a performance view of things, the vertical stand helped to lower my laptop temperature, compared to the usual angled stand. The stand allowed the heat from the laptop fans to blow out the back and rise, rather than blowing into my desk and rising back up towards the laptop. 10/10 product for anyone that uses their laptop as a desktop replacement.

Overall, a very nice product, I'd give it 4.5 stars if i could. Nicely machined aluminum with black coating (can't tell if its paint or powder coat). Interior has soft but resilient silicone pads that provide good protection for your device. The only thing I would look to improve is the actual clamping mechanism. Its very strong, with each side held in by two hex-head bolts, so that's not an issue. However, it can be a little tedious to get each side aligned straight and with the separation needed. In this case i think a single bolt with guiding pins on either side would be a better solution.

Just what the doctor ordered. Of course it doesn't matter but I would suggest getting the color to match your computer or contrast nicely, and that would be the only decisions you need to make cuz this thing is solid, at least for a MacBook Pro 2017

My mom used to prop her laptop up against the coffee table. I got this for her and she loves it !!!!!!!! She thinks it was the greatest thing ever made (but she enjoys the simple little things in life). I got it for her just because and she was so happy and great full. I got a new 2022 MacBook Air M2 and wanted a dock to keep it out of the way. This one was available same day delivery, was a good price and was heavy. Some of the others I looked at I had to wait longer, were pricier, or were too light to hold the computer. This one is a good balance. I adjusted the screws (without any difficulty) to make it as narrow as possible and that provides the perfect space to slide it in without pushing yet not much room for any leaning. If the space grey was available same day i'd have preferred that but I think this looks fine and it works great.

It doesn't look good as the bookark, but it does the job. The width is adjustable, heavy metal with great stability, inside rubber material protection for MacBooks, bottom foam material provide anti-slippery support. Very well thought product. Again, it doesn't look as good as the bookark, but it is made of very good quality material, you can feel the weight.

I had purchased a vertical laptop stand before this and it was way too flimsy and not weighted or sturdy. So I went with this option and it is a night and day difference. It is weighted to hold my laptop and not tipping over. It’s an all metal build and I love that that there no logo or writing anywhere on it. It makes it look clean and professional. It hold my 16” HP Omen Gaming Laptop perfectly and I plan to buy another one soon
