I have worked one shift with this jacket and I am in love. The jacket came beautifully packaged. Organized, neat, all the pieces in their places. I either missed it in the description, or maybe it's not there, but I only expected the battery. Not a well made, thick cord and a heavy duty charging block as well! Clicking the power test button showed it was 3/4 full, but as we all know, you have to charge batteries for a bit to get a true test. I left it plugged in for a few hours before taking my new "toy" to work. And girl... yes. I work in a warehouse that feels like it it always either 20 degrees hotter in the summer or colder in winter than outside the building. Not fun. For a year now, I've layered, I've bought heat packs, I bought rechargeable handwarmers for my pockets... I was tired of spending small dollars constantly to work comfortably. While yes this is one of the more expensive heated jackets out there, it is high quality and highly recommended. 👌 I even got mine while it was on sale for 40% off. I know times are hard, so look for those deals! This jacket is heavy yet light? Even without the power on, the jacket is warm. The windbreaker is wonderful! It is heavy enough that it stays warm for a while after the power is turned off, yet light enough I was able to do my inventories and move pails and drums for the orders. The zippers move like butter! There are the two pockets on the outside of each layer and one inside of each layer. The inside pocket of the inner layer being for the battery pack, the outter layer's inside pocket is perfect for those small items you don't want to lose. I have a giant phone that would not fit, but my keys, and a mens size bifold wallet would be perfect to slip inside. I am 220lbs and 5'3. I usually wear a size 18 or 20 pant in women's (40 in men's) and an XL shirt. I went with the 3xl to be sure I'd be comfortable after checking with the size guide. It fits be wonderfully! I was somewhat worried that it would look bulky and fit strangely as things sometimes do for my height and weight. The jacket comes almost half way down my bottom which I prefer and though the sleeves are a tad long, I'm used to that (I'm short remember? Lol). The sleeves on the outter shell have a velcro adjuster that work well for me. Happy to not be rolling the sleeves like my mom made me do growing up when i got hand-me-downs. Speaking of velcro, the outter shell also has only two buttons on the closure. You have your zipper of course, then a snap button on the very top and bottom, with velcro strips between. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this function!! As small that that is, I don't have time, nor want to snap a million buttons when I'm busy. This is perfect for soccer/sports moms like me. Whether it's raining, snowing, or just a biting windy day, I'll be cozy in my new coat! Soccer season hasn't started for us yet, but this will be my newest friend on the side lines.

This is the most versatile jacket I have ever had the pleasure of owning! Bought this over a year ago; not only does the heating elements still work exceptionally, but I honestly hardly ever needed to use them with the insulation holding in my body heat to a point where I had to turn off the heat. Additionally, it essentially came with 2 jackets. I use the outer shell most often because it doubles as an incredibly reliable raincoat. I love it and everyone has been jealous of me when they see me wearing such a simply marvelous rain jacket that actually came with a heated jacket I bought over a year ago. I highly recommend this product!

I really love this jacket, it warms super well i often put a bigger coat on over the fleece lining. Two things I dont like, placement of where the battery is, very uncomfortable to sit with and is a difficult reach to take the battery out while still wearing the coat. The other thing is the hood for the outer shell is super thin with no lining to help your head be warm at all.

Starting with the positive, the design of this jacket is great. It comes with an inner and outer shell, which is standard for many of this type. I work in outdoor construction and the style is very flattering for women. I can separate they inner and outer shell in the event I want just a rain jacket or just a fleece. Also, on its own, the fleece itself is very warm. I ordered a size small, which was perfect for my body of 5’-8” height and 125 lb weight. The only issue I had was with the heating element. After reading so many reviews about how toasty this jacket is, I was severely let down. I charged the battery pack as described in the instructions, tested that all three heating levels were functional and prepared to be amazed. You can imagine my surprise when I wore this jacket during this past winter in NY, which was mild, and received barely any heat. On the high setting, my inside jacket (fleece) was lukewarm at best after over 45 minutes. I tried it on different days throughout the winter to be sure it had an issue. To add insult to injury, my coworker bought a knockoff heating element jacket from Temu was $25 and got the same level of heat in his product. I ended up keeping the jacket because at that point, I still needed a fleece for work. I think I may have just received a defective heating element though. Overall, it’s a great jacket. After reaching out to customer service, I spoke to Mandy who was a delight. We did some testing to find out if the jacket or the battery was the issue. My battery turned out to be fine. However, since I was still having heating issues, the company sent me a 2023 model of the same jacket. Upon testing, the testing elements were definitely warmer. I am satisfied with the customer service of the company. I would recommend the brand based on their treatment of customers and their determination to make sure everyone is satisfied with their purchase. My jacket is now way warmer and I can’t wait to use it next winter!

I bought this jacket for my conference trip to Colorado at the end of April. I knew that there would be a definite weather difference between my home and Colorado. The average initial temperature during the day was a chilly 60°-ish but colder at night. The last three days were much different. The morning temperature was between the 40°s and 50°s with sporadic light rain off and on. I set the battery mainly on medium power and because of my wardrobe I had to wear, I couldn't always keep my jacket closed but the outer jacket kept me dry and the inner jacket kept my back warm until the battery died. My last day, I changed to the larger 12 volt battery and it kept me warm during my last class, dinner and return trip to the hotel, especially since the weather changed dramatically during 20 minute time frame before it was over. I ordered the 3x size because I wanted a little wiggle room and since I have long arms I wanted room to move around comfortably. A 2x would have been too snug a fit. The outer jacket is waterproof/resistant so the fleece jacket didn't get wet. The battery that comes with the jacket would have been okay if I hadn't been in such cold weather but the 12 volt battery was definitely a wise purchase. The only awkward thing was carrying the added weight of the bigger battery. Once you get the battery plugged in, it's easy to use. You just have to find the temperature that meets your needs. Separating the two jackets is no big problem. I especially like the idea of just adding the outer "raincoat" to the fleece jacket without having to change to a different coat if the weather changes and I get caught in the rain. Overall, this was the best purchase I could have made for my trip. I totally recommend this 2-in-1 jacket and if you plan to be in cold weather, get the larger battery. The customer service is great!! The 12 volt battery was missing the charging cable but once I contacted them, I received a call back within a couple of days, a replacement charging cable (at no extra charge) and customer service follow-up call and email to verify sure that I received it and an email when I got back. I'll continue to recommend this product and company to others!!!

I received my heated jacket and charged that battery (as recommend - even though it was almost fully charged). The jacket fitted as expected. It is a form fitting jacket. I am a larger lady up top. The chest area fits nicely, not to snug. The fleece jacket is super soft and warm (even without the heater on). The outer jacket is great for the cold winds and repels snow and water nicely. The inner fleece jacket has the tabs/snaps to hold the arms and neck in place; along with zippers up each side. The only thing I found odd, is the one zipper is reversed: meaning; when removing or adding the inner jacket to the shell you must unzip/zip up this side first. The placement of the battery pocket it awesome. It is up high enough; so that when bending and sitting it's not in the way. The hood on the shell is removable. The sleeves on the shell jacket are adjustable by Velcro. There is Velcro along the main zipper on the shell, along with a snap at the top and bottom of the zipper flap. The hood fits nicely and is adjustable also. The only complaints I have at this time, is the breast pocket is on the right and not the left as I am used to with female clothing. I must also add that I had a nice surprise; the neck also has a heater pad in it. While, the jacket I ordered did not mention that; I am super excited that it does. I am a nurse and my long hair is normally up and my neck is always exposed to the elements. The battery pack as 4 lights on the front to help know what the battery level is. The battery pack also has a power switch. The jacket has a 5 min pre-heat and the will default to medium setting. Operation of the switch for the jacket is easy. Press and hold to turn on or off. Click to change from high (red), med (white), low settings (blue). The jacket was packaged very well and comes in a duster bag for storage, in the off seasons.

I bought this coat in January. I was so excited about having it. The battery kept dying very quickly even when I wasn’t using it. I contacted the company via phone and text messages. They made it seem like they were going to replace the battery, but basically they gave me a runaround. I followed all of their instructions and after I told them I wanted it replaced or I was going to return it I never did hear back from them nor did they replace the battery. I am returning this product and going with Ororo jacket. I heard is one of the best and I should have went with them to start with. If I could rate this zero I would. I never leave reviews but I’m letting you know how horrible this company is. If I could write this a zero I would. *update - Feb 2024 - after leaving this review I finally got a call from Mary at the company saying she will send me a new battery. So far I haven’t had a problem but we will see how long it works. I wish the company would work better and quicker with the customers that have issues.

Although I ordered it new, Amazon allows some returned items to be sold as new, and I think I got a returned item. The inner liner idea is great, but one button that attaches the liner's sleeve and the outer coat sleeve was ripped off of the one I received. I've attached pictures showing the right sleeve button (properly attached) and the left sleeve button (ripped off of the jacket) for reference. The coat did not come in the original packaging (I had bought another style from the same brand, and it came in totally different packaging like the carrying bag described in the item description here). No instructions came with it. The other style I had bought came in nice, giftable packaging with instructions and a cardboard box for the battery and charging cord; the battery and charging cord for this one came zipped in the jacket pockets (not even the battery pocket, but one of the pockets for the hands). I liked the other one I got from this brand as a gift, but it was too big, which is why I ordered this one. After wearing the other one and noticing how good the 7.4 volt battery performance was for heat, I decided I wanted this brand, but I also wanted heating elements on my abdomen, not just my chest. I looked all over Amazon to find heating elements on the abdomen and finally found this same brand had them on this listing. Now, there are two styles listed on this listing, red and black. Red shows heating elements on the neck and chest, but no abdomen. Black shows heating elements on the chest and abdomen, but no neck. I was sorry not to have neck warmers, but decided abdomen was more important. When the black jacket arrived, there were no abdomen heaters on this one, but there was a neck heater. I think they changed the style and did not update their listing. But I had specifically been looking for abdomen heaters like the listing shows. In fact, their listing here says in the description it's a 7.4 v battery like the other style I got that was too large. Instead, a 5 v battery came with this one (but I think in the item name it may have said it was 5 v), and I could definitely tell the difference between this and the larger coat. The larger battery was warmer for sure, and since the heating elements were in the same location, that 2.4 volts must make a difference. Since it has a rip in a functional place and doesn't have the abdomen heaters, I'm returning it. Otherwise, other than the fact that the button to turn on the heat is on the inside of the zipper, so you have to unzip the coat to adjust the heat, the coat design is pretty well thought out. You could wear the heated shell under another coat if you wanted. And if you don't need too much heat, this one with the 5 volt battery might be fine for you. After testing these, I highly recommend the neck heaters, but hopefully I can find one with both neck heaters and abdomen heaters. The brand impressed me with the first coat, so if I can't find anything, maybe I'll order a smaller size of the first one. (By the way, the design of the coats from both listings seem identical other than the battery and battery connector). PROS: - Overall good design with flexibility in terms of separating the shell from the outer coat - Very soft liner shell that contains the heat and could be used under any coat for fashion - Heated neck CONS: - Outer coat is made of a material that rubs against itself very loudly. Sensitive kid ears will not like it (it drove my kid nuts if I even brushed against it) - Have to unzip coat to adjust heat - Heat control button may be easy to bump (or it might self-adjust to medium heat instead of the selected high heat after a bit... I had it on high and it reverted to medium) - No heat in arms. With the other version of this coat, that didn't bother me, but with this one, it did... maybe because of the lower battery voltage, or maybe it was colder outside when I tried this one. - Outer shell does not flatter a woman's shape. Inner shell doesn't much either, but it could be worn with a more flattering coat and doesn't look quite as bulky. - There is very little adjustment for neck size. You can snap one snap to close the neck, but if your neck is smaller than that, it leaves a gap for cold air to get in. Two or three snap locations would be better. - The collar does rub up against my chin a bit, which was bothersome.
