This is a great coat! It has many very high end features! Zippers and velcro- The zippers are all great quality and all have a very nice and grippy zipper pull. The velcro on the outside of the outer layer of coat really seals it from the wind. The velcro is the new "lower nap" sort so that while it sticks to itself very well it is less likely to catch on other fabric. There is a sano top and bottom to completely seal the coat. This jacket is very water repellant as well and the hood gave me good protection when I got caught in the rain. The hood actually has many good features in that it is removable as well as adjustable! There is a velcro tab on the back for size adjustments as wells as a draw string to pull it close to your face. They also put velcro at the wrist so that you can adjust them! Pockets- the outer pockets on the windbreaker layer are large enough to be useful and have zippers! The lining is silky material and I think I'd like them to be fleecy and therefore warmer, but that's minor. Inside the wind breaker is a nice zipper pocket on the left breast. Outside the windbreaker is a great zipper pocket on the right breast. The fleece inner jacket has pockets that are fleecy, as you would expect! Also the battery pocket is inside on the left. There is a fabulous little pocket in a pocket to hold the battery, but there is plenty of room for other items as well! The button for the heater is inside on the left side. I LOVE that it's inside because I don't feel like anyone needs to know if I have my heat turned on! Attaching the two layers of coats is accomplished with a snap tab at each wrist and one at the back of the neck as well as the two big zippers. Size- I found it to run true to size, but it is a heavy coat as would be expected. It is two layers of coat plus it has a battery in it. If you are looking for a light weight coat, this would not be for you. If you are looking for a WARM coat, this is it!! Customer service- I had some difficulty with the coat and I have to say the customer service is VERY responsive and helpful! I couldn't ask for better. Overall- I would certainly recommend this coat. It is very warm, water repellent, and has many thoughtfully placed pockets!

Starting with the positive, the design of this jacket is great. It comes with an inner and outer shell, which is standard for many of this type. I work in outdoor construction and the style is very flattering for women. I can separate they inner and outer shell in the event I want just a rain jacket or just a fleece. Also, on its own, the fleece itself is very warm. I ordered a size small, which was perfect for my body of 5’-8” height and 125 lb weight. The only issue I had was with the heating element. After reading so many reviews about how toasty this jacket is, I was severely let down. I charged the battery pack as described in the instructions, tested that all three heating levels were functional and prepared to be amazed. You can imagine my surprise when I wore this jacket during this past winter in NY, which was mild, and received barely any heat. On the high setting, my inside jacket (fleece) was lukewarm at best after over 45 minutes. I tried it on different days throughout the winter to be sure it had an issue. To add insult to injury, my coworker bought a knockoff heating element jacket from Temu was $25 and got the same level of heat in his product. I ended up keeping the jacket because at that point, I still needed a fleece for work. I think I may have just received a defective heating element though. Overall, it’s a great jacket. After reaching out to customer service, I spoke to Mandy who was a delight. We did some testing to find out if the jacket or the battery was the issue. My battery turned out to be fine. However, since I was still having heating issues, the company sent me a 2023 model of the same jacket. Upon testing, the testing elements were definitely warmer. I am satisfied with the customer service of the company. I would recommend the brand based on their treatment of customers and their determination to make sure everyone is satisfied with their purchase. My jacket is now way warmer and I can’t wait to use it next winter!

I purchased this as a gift for my wife for Christmas 2022. At around month 11 she went to use the coat after about 7 to 8 months of storage and she mentioned to me it wouldn't heat up. After looking into it I started to research and try to trouble shoot. Once I realized I still had 30 days on the warranty I reached out to Venustas customer service. If I could rate the customer service rep Yusi I would give him 10 stars. After following the videos that were provided to me in the links he sent me we had it pointing at a defective battery. He was excellent at making it right with me and sent a new battery. According to the video you are supposed to be able to charge other devices with the battery during the off season while the battery isn't being used. To help the longevity of the battery. This didn't work so we assumed that the battery was at fault. After getting the new battery I fully charged it and plugged into the coat and nothing. I then reached back out to Yusi via email since this is how I got ahold of customer service. Long story short he sent out another coat and it worked perfect. My wife was very happy to get her heated coat back working. Still can't figure out what went wrong with original coat and the replacement was just a little different coat but she still likes it. I'm just really happy how the Venustas customer service team handled the warranty claim . Thanks Yusi. I would buy again from this company again
