We are planning for cold weather in Iceland in November. We wanted cold gear that was also lightweight for the purposes of travel. Therefore, instead of a bulky parka we opted for a water resistant jacket with a heating system. The battery charges by USB-C. It charges quickly, and it has a digital readout on the power level by percentage. It attaches by a power cable in the jacket. There is a button on the LEFT chest that activates the heating system. There are three power levels. The jacket heats up in the chest, shoulders, back, abdomen and arms very quickly. I found that the highest level was very effective to start up the warming process but the middle and lower levels are also very comfortable. There are zippered pockets in the upper arm and distal arm levels for keys, cards or small items. The body pockets are large enough for gloves or hands. It is a comfortable and stylish looking jacket. I like the storable hood. There are high collars that cover my lower face. I found the hood to be appropriate in size. Very nice heated jacket! It fits great. Nice stitching. I got the blue and i like color, its a darker blue. Super cool draw string system for the hood, ive never seen one like it before it goes through the chest and into the pockets. The hood can be rolled up and strapped to the collar and the collar is still comfortable with the hood rolled up. Its a really good wind breaker, its light weight and heavy duty and its pretty warm even without the heating pads turned on. The heating pads are placed in great places and get good and hot. The front pads are right behind the front pockets so it can help keep your hands warm and the weight of your arms presses the pad against your chest more than it already is. The back heating pad is on the part of your back that touches the jacket most. The battery looks good and works well. I like the protective material around the battery, i believe it helps prevent damage and is a great thermal safety measure. There are plenty of pockets and they are a good size and zip up. The front pockets are up a bit higher than most other jackets and they hold your hands up and help support your arms, its very comfortable. Theres shoulder pockets on the arms, the right shoulder pocket is for a devices with a headphone port and theres a rubber hole for a headphone wire to go from the pocket into the arm and to your ears. Theres a headphone port in the front left pocket as well. Theres a pocket on the top of the left wrist thats perfect for an i.d. and or money/thin items. The hand pockets are also large and they each have a hoop inside them, like to connect a key ring or billfold i guess. Theres a big pocket on the bottom of the back. The zipper has two zippers on one track so you can unzip the bottom and leave the rest zipped up if you need easy access or a little more room at the bottom. It looks like its cotton or maybe fleece lined inside the sleeves and they are very comfortable and warm. The ends of the sleeves tighten at the wrist and theres a drawstring at the bottom so it seals at every opening to keep air out. Theres a hoop by the collar for easily hanging it on a hook or making sure it wont come off the hanger. Im a happy customer! I recommend this heated jacket! ... show more

I love the jacket great quality! its a little pricy at 150, my right sleeve seems to get hotter then my left isn't working property middle elements are very dime faulty elements, setting wise are ok at low, middle seems not as toasty you pretty much have to have it on high the whole time. great jacket faulty elements battery pack seems to run down pretty quick maybe faulty battery as well. ... show more

Number 1, this jacket does not require layers, if you wear sweaters and hoodies you won’t feel the heaters, the jacket is designed to work alone with nothing but a T shirt, I wore mines to work with a sweater on and couldn’t feel the heaters, I wore it with a tshirt and was sooo warm in 20 degree weather, try to buy one that fits, you don’t need extra room for more layers the closer the jacket is to skin the better, I normally wear a small but ordered a medium because it was recommended but probably could of ordered a small with a better fit as far as the heat, it’s definitely worth every dime, no fur coat or leather coat can compare for the value your getting with a heated coat, it’s so warm you’ll want to go to sleep!!! I purchased these jackets for my son and I. We received it yesterday and we were anxious to try it out see how it measured up to the Windy City cold. After fully charging the batteries. ( They do not come fully charged) We went out to go shopping at the grocery store. The first thing I noticed is that the heating elements all around the jacket heated up pretty quickly and worked pretty well. However we both noticed that the heating element on both of our right arms was not as intense as the other elements or the one on our left arm. I believe this may be a design flaw and I am considering returning both jackets. I truly hope the manufacturer will correct this because overall this is a nice jacket. ... show more
