Venus Visage whitening Gel is working great to whitening my teeth. I haven't whitened in a few years, and this gel has done a phenomenal job to catch me back up with only one tube and a few applications. I am now on my 2nd tube, and I haven't experienced any sensitivity with the 30 minutes per day regime. Honestly, I have gone over the 30 minutes a few times. This gel is comparable to the 35% that I purchased from my dentist years ago. I already owned fitted trays, and this gel doesn't require a light. I am very happy with my purchase, and the price of 12 tubes.

Does seem to whiten, has an pleasant chemical taste, like an adhesive. My mouth didn't feel fresh after several hours, as if I hadn't brushed, flossed, & waterpik'd prior to using, so that was unusual. Next time will go back to a minty type. Has one tiny, transparent tip attachment with a miniscule cap, and this attachment doesn't have a storage position in the box so is easily lost especially upon opening the box, after which you won't be able to finely dispense the gel into a whitening tray, instead you'll dispense the gel in blobs that waste the gel and leave too much gel on your gums after fitting the trays. There's also not room in the box to leave the attachment on one dispensing syringe as the syringes fit only in a fixed position in its slot.

I've used Opalescence whitening in the past, same active ingredient and strength, without issue. The Venus Visage brand, however, immediately foams upon contact with my teeth, so much that I had to spit into the sink numerous times over the half hour I was using it. I may as well have been standing over the sink the whole time. The foam spreading everywhere burned my gums and tongue too. I used a reasonable amount of gel, not overdoing it, so that wasn't the cause. To be sure my judgement was correct, I compared to Opalescence the next day and had no issues with that, so it's definitely this particular brand that is problematic. I'm puzzled at the high reviews and how this gel could have passed a product test and made it to market. By the time I tried this kind a second time thinking I would just stick it out to get my money's worth, I was done, took off the gel early and threw the remaining tubes in the trash. If you want a good whitening gel, don't buy these.
