I bought this bee house before doing much research, and ultimately am disappointed. That said, the bee house is built well and is sturdy and I expect it to attract a variety of solitary bees. However, be aware that the bamboo tubes are short and glued into the house frame making house cleaning difficult and shortens the overall expected lifespan of the house ... show more

I’m so pleased with this, I got it to gift to someone and it feels so well made and sturdy! It’s heavy and a nice size! My only critique is that the tiny piece of twine that’s supposed to hold it up for sure needs replaced with something a little sturdier that will last, but overall this thing is great! ... show more

    • This is much poorer quality than another one I bought.
Many of the holes didn't go through because the bamboo joints weren't at the back. Craftsman ship is not good. I had to spend a lot of time with a drill to get it to work.
