This is a decent woven cotton blanket. I like cotton for its practicality and comfort. Cotton absorbs moisture well and doesn't make you feel clammy, so it can be good for bedding. This blanket can be thrown into the washing machine (front loader. Not sure about a top loader given the following). But, this blanket is relatively thin. The weave is loose, and it isn't as strong as it could be. I'm not sure how it would do in a top loader washer. Because it is thin and loose woven, it isn't especially warm or soft.
