This item was easy to install. Be sure to follow the instructions as with any installation. The amount of darkness that it deflects is perfect. Depending on the size of your window, you may need to purchase a larger one so that you get the right amount of coverage. This way you will have some leftover to cover any spaces that still need coverage.

I bought this to cover a stained glass window because I don't like people looking in my house at night; when the lights are on, anyone can see straight in. After reading the directions, I assumed this product was not going to work for me because the stained glass window was not a flat surface, everywhere there was a design (pretty much the entire window), the surface was raised. I figured since I bought it, I should try it. I didn't put too much effort into installation because I didn't think it would hold up due to the raised surface of the window. I cleaned the glass with windex and used a tiny bit of water to get the blackout film to stick. It's been about 2 weeks and it's still there. No one can see inside my house anymore. It's also not sticky so if I ever decide to remove it, there's nothing tacky to peel off, it's as easy as taking a magnet off the fridge.

Let me start off by saying I do recommend this product. I gave lower stars for easy to install and easy to use because they weren’t that easy. You’ll need a second person. I bought this for my snake terrarium to block out 3 sides so she’ll feel more comfortable. I got it on but it looks like trash. I didn’t have a second person to help. But it does stick nicely, I recommend cleaning the window area you want to put it on. It’s good for the time being until we move her to a bigger terrarium, and when that happens this terrarium is going to a friend so she’ll also get to use this product seeing as I won’t remove it cause her snake will also need the security. I love anything black so it’s beautiful to me, and it blocks out light inside her tank like I wanted! Overall this is a 5 star product, just have a second person to help.

The media could not be loaded. These rolls are small I couldn’t even do one full window smh so not to happy. Will have to buy three rolls just for two bedroom windows. My windows are not big just long and not floor to floor long or wall to wall long so not happy with this at all. I hate the finished look of it as well I just need to be able to block out this hot Azzz window.

Finally a complete black out in my grandsons room. He doesn’t sleep if any sliver of light comes through. This is not sheer it is completely opaque. Easy to install. I recommend getting the proper tools/squeegee to put up with ease.

This is ridiculous.... it’s doesn’t stick, just falls right off. And on top of that it’s not even enough to do 1 bedroom window. Just buy black poster board at Walmart, way less expensive.
