I hope this review will be able to reach most customers before making this purchase because this product should not even be in the market. First of all, the product advertisement is deceitful. This product capitalizes on the use of memory foam when in fact is disproportionately fewer than the amount of disgusting foam the manufacturer got from who knows where. The ratio of memory foam to foam is 2:8 as displayed on an image, which Vekkia sneakily used under the Zipper feature section, and the manual it came with it. The advertisement contradicts itself with "Filled: Soft Shredded Memory Foam Pillow comes compressed..", but just completely ignore this. But seriously? This is the "HIGH QUALITY AND SCIENTIFIC RATIO about memory foam and ordinary foam" you speak of? I'm pretty sure you could have used the pictures of the ordinary foam instead of plastering the image of the memory foam on every space available. Because when I unzipped and dug inside, most of them were random foam with no visible sight and feel of the memory foam. That's when it hit me. Remember the 2:8 ratio? I can guess with the way this product is advertised that the cushion is filled with that 80% foam and the EXTRA foam that came with it is that 20% memory foam. Next, remember the disgusting foam I mentioned? The source of the foam is questionable because these are reused foam with zero quality check. Some of the foams are dirty and discolored, and there were a couple that were caked with other materials not listed on the description. This is a health hazard. And I do not feel comfortable letting other people like me using this. ~~~Conclusion~~~ A premium price of $53.00 just to find out my cushion is literally a trash bag full of scraps is very disappointing. Good thing it came with EXTRA memory foam, right? Now, my current issue is whether I can get a full refund. Cushion came very compressed in a tall box so it's going to be a real hassle trying to have this all in one box again. If Amazon allows me, I will keep an update on this. ~~~Update~~~ Case has been resolved. Also, I took out all the material from cushion as you can see from the pictures of the two trash bags. I toyed with the idea of getting a reading pillow for quite a while, but I wanted to make sure I chose the right one for multiple reasons; 1) my job is very physically demanding, so I’ve been experiencing neck and back issues, and 2) I’m broader than the average guy, so I needed one that wasn’t going to feel like just another throw pillow behind my back. I researched and researched. I added pillows to my cart, compared quality and price, then removed them because I felt they didn’t add up. I love this pillow. It's huge and soft like a giant teddy bear. It's so supportive of my neck and lower back. I'll be having shoulder surgery soon and will need to sleep sitting up. This will be perfect. No trying to stack pillows that will only slide around and give no support at all.

Memory foam stuffing looked like someone dug it out of an old couch left on the street for trash. Gross. Small amount of extra padding appeared dirty. Pieces of foam had fallen out of inner pillowcase through low grade stitching, making a mess on the outside pillow cover. I had to reinforce seams on the inside pillowcase because many were coming apart. Then after all that I gotca killer sinus headache from breathing in all of that God knows what stuffing. I love this pillow. It's perfect for watching TV or reading in bed. It would also work well to put it on the floor against the couch for those who like sitting on the floor. The fabric is a nice gray color and very soft to touch. It's sort of a cross between velvet and velour. The cover has a zipper and is removable. Under the cover is the part that holds the stuffing and that has a zipper so you can add (comes with extra stuffing) or remove stuffing to your liking. It has a carry handle and a pocket on one of the arm rests. I got this to give as a gift but I may have to keep it! It fits me perfectly! ... show more

THIS IS WHAT YOURE PAYING OVER $70 FOR!! LOOK AT THE PICS! The only good thing about this was the size. Right out of the box, the smell was overwhelming. It smelled like it was molding. Second, the stitching of the inner lining is poor. It’s loose and strings were hanging. The stuffing had plastic bag pieces and hard plastic pieces as well. It looks used and is far from comfortable. The stuffing isn’t soft, nor does it feel at all like memory foam. For the price of this, it should not be in this condition. ... show more

This is a very firm and supportive pillow. It’s the perfect height for me to have a good headrest without the bolster. I’m 5-8. I imagine you’d need to be 6 foot or taller to need the bolster. It falls down on the pillow and pushes my head forward. This pillow is heavy too. I’ve used lighter weight ones in the past and they just don’t give the support this one has. ... show more

I really like this pillow! As you can see it expanded quite well and is firm but comfortable and supportive. For me, I like the additional tube pillow more at the bottom to support my lower back, as shown in my picture. I got the 24" because I was concerned the smaller one wouldn't have supported my neck for sleep, because I didn't get this pillow for reading in bed, I got it for digestive reasons. I usually have to sit up about halfway through the night and my old pillow was no longer working, this one fits the bill! I like the height of the arm rests too, fits me comfortably.
