I like the warm light and how light it is. However, the battery life is not as advertised at all. The product page says I should get 70 hrs on low intensity. But I'm barely getting 6-7 hrs on medium intensity. I'm a college student & I'm reading books for more than 7hrs everyday. It is annoying to have to charge it more than once everyday. So I can't speak to battery life since I've only been using this a few nights, but in all other aspects it is BRILLIANT. It's extremely lightweight and has such a long neck that you can easily manipulate into almost any position and illuminate even a big fat wide ol' book. The neck stays in place! The amber light and three brightness options are a game-changer, since I can actually read myself to sleep now! It's extremely compact and easy to throw into a bag or pocket (unless you are a woman wearing clothes made for women, in which case all your pockets are fake... but yknow, dudes with big ol' calculator-sized dude pockets, congrats!). My only note is that if you're reading a paperback, you'll have to clip the light somewhere where you're already supporting the book with your hand. But that's just physics, not a product deficit. Very surprising how much my quality of "night-life" (HA HA HA) has increased since ditching my too-bright bedside lamp and getting this little friend. ... show more

I can't use a lot of lighting because I have a tendency to get horrible migraines with bright lights, but I decided I would try an amber light and it works really well I can read and it doesn't trigger a migraine. So I recommend it for anybody who has issues with light sensitivity. And I certainly would buy it again. ... show more

Very effective, handy product to own. Many pros included in this small, lightweight design. It is flexible, yet sturdy and not too big or bulky. Small and flexible enough to throw in a purse. It comes with a standard USB charger that charges very quickly, and lasts...awhile. Kept it on for 4 hours and it was still working. It has 3 brightness settings. The light on any of the settings is bright enough for a read in the dark, yet compact enough so it doesn't bother others. The clip is sturdy and holds well. The only con I would say, is it needs just a little blue light in it, because the light is very brown/orange. But overall, a very well made product. ... show more

UPDATE #2: Was able to exchange book light for a new one and so far I haven't had any issues (7+ months), HOWEVER I have not used it as much as I did the first one. I am hopeful this one will last me quite a while longer. UPDATE: Less than 3 months of use and unfortunately the battery has started to lose it's longevity. It worked without a charge for weeks at first, but now if I don't use it for a few days it won't turn on again without a charge. Thinking of returning or exchanging. Original review below: So far, so good. One of the best purchases I have made in a while. I can read again! Haven't read a book since my child was born. Idk why I didn't think of this sooner! I love that the light is amber colored and warm, not harsh like regular lighting. It is very comfortable on my eyes. The way the neck can bend is great as well. Though as much as I bend it I'm afraid it's going to short out soon. We'll see. The only thing I don't like about this book light is the brightness/on-off button. I wish there were 2 buttons, one for brightness adjust and one for on-off function, instead of having to go through all the brightness levels to turn it off. Mostly that bothers me because pushing the button makes such a loud clicking sound. Trying to be super quiet in bed while my kid sleeps. But I still love this light because it is nice to my eyes and because it has allowed me to embrace my love of reading once again. ... show more
