This version of the flower fountain has several improvements over the original, including a pre filter that fits into a dedicated container on the pump. The pump is desingned to simly break in two for cleaning and there is an LED on it which illuminates the bowl which has a window that provides a look into the remainng level of water so you dont have to guess and run the bowl over by over filling . The pump is so quiet it is almost impossible to hear so that means it is more efficient. The bowl is square so it contains more liquid than the round one.

Okay, I have to admit—I didn’t realize how much excitement could come from changing a cat water fountain filter, but here we are. These Veken Cat Water Fountain Filters have us genuinely shocked every time we swap one out. Why We Love It: It’s Like Magic: Every time we change the filter, we’re amazed at how much gunk it has caught. I mean, we all knew our cat was a messy drinker, but this filter really pulls through. It’s like watching a magic trick—“How did that much junk get into the water in just a week?” Our Cat Loves It: The water stays fresher longer, and our cat is happily drinking away. She even looks at us like, “Wow, this is the best water I’ve ever had!” (Or maybe that’s just us projecting). These replacement filters worked well with our Veken cat water fountain and fit exactly as expected. They helped keep the water clean and clear, and our cats had no issues drinking from it. The filters themselves were good quality and did their job. The only challenge we had was keeping up with cleaning the fountain itself, which can take a little effort. But the filters performed exactly the way they should. Overall these are solid replacements if you use the Veken fountain.

I've had numerous cat fountains over the years and the Veken fountain by far out-ranks all of them for ease of cleaning, especially the pump. It's sleek, durable stainless steel, and quiet. It's easy to throw it in dish washer periodically for sanitization.

These filters make a huge difference in how clean the water stays in my cat’s fountain. They’re the exact size for the Veken models and fit perfectly without having to force anything. The carbon filters keep the water clear and fresh longer, and the little pre-filter sponges help catch hair and debris so the pump doesn’t get gunked up. I’ve noticed I don’t have to deep-clean the fountain as often when I stay on top of replacing these. My cat also drinks more when the water is cleaner, so that’s a win. The pack comes with plenty, so I don’t have to reorder constantly. What could be better: The filters need to be rinsed before use because some carbon dust comes off — not a big deal but worth mentioning.
