This product is awesome, but it is so new that the User Manual is wrong and needs edited. It is apparent that the manual was written for a pre-production door lock system with different firmware. For example, the User Manual instructs you to use left arrow keys and the 4 button on the door-mounted keypad and listen for beeps to store new fingerprint, but this is wrong, it does not work. After calling Customer Support, I got in touch with a fellow with UK accent who explained how to store a fingerprint using the KK Home App on my phone. The door lock actually speaks English to you rather than beeping. I program setup thru the phone app worked great. All is good now!! Thanks, my advice would be to update the manuals to reflect t the latest firmware and maybe post a how to video on YouTube. The general Bluetooth pairing and app install video you currently have posted is ok, but it does not drill down into each menu setup function. ... show more

Can't get the Bluetooth to find my phone. So all I have is an expensive deadbolt. If it was working properly it would be a nice solid lock. Ok I figured it out. You have to have your location on. Love this lock now that I got it to working!

    • Comes with everything you need
This is a very good door look. It comes with everything you need to install it. It's already my second one. The first never fit like advertised. After two years the dead bolt was damaged and I had to buy a new dead bolt. But even after opening up the hole in the door frame the look stuck from time to time. The dead bolt was moving (wobbling) because there was to much space on the sides. This door lock comes with everything you need to install it from scratch. Everything fits to the other parts. The installation manual is outstanding, every step is explained and with pictures. All measurements come in inch and mm. Each part is shown in an overview, so you can identify the parts easily. The installation manual is one of the best I got in the last time. Even inexperienced homeworker can install this lock. The installation took about 10 minutes, I used only two different sizes of screwdriver. There are two different option for the door hole plate to choose from. It comes with two keys and two cards. Unfortunately the key card hole is to small to fit the card onto your key chain. The little rubber band is not trust worthy - so you have to put the card into your wallet. If you (like me) have another key card in your wallet, the lock will pick the wrong one to verify. Nevertheless, my wallet is to thick to let any verification happening. So I use the key card just as backup. To enter my codes I used the (free) app. To change the master code and add some additional codes is easy. To add the fingerprint it took me some time to figure out how it works. The process to scan the finger takes 8 second and you need to lift fast enough the finger into another position and press the finger back on the sensor. This was not so correctly explained in the app. If you don't like to use the app (it ask to allow to use the location) you can set up the lock directly on the key pad. The user manual has the same quality like it he installation manual and it should be easy to do. The door lock works nicely, the dead bolt fits into the door hole and the closing and opening process is going smoothly. The door lock look elegant on the door from inside and outside. So let me say I really do like this lock. I feel like it is very comparable to other higher quality locks. The fingerprint and touchpad feels great and functions well. I have owned 2 or 3 smart locks before this and I would say it is very comparable to those, which is impressive considering this costs much less. The one complaint is needing the wifi gateway for the remote access. I feel like these features could have been built into the system without needing to spend an extra 20 dollars or so. But if that feature isn't important to you or the other wi-fi features then I think this would be a great option for you. ... show more

My review of the Veise Smart Lock, Fingerprint Keyless Entry Door Lock with App Control, Electronic Digital Lock with Backlit Touchscreen Keypad, Smart Deadbolt, Biometric Smart Locks for Front Door, Matte Black . I absolutely love this lock. You can unlock it in several different ways. I added four fingerprints, two cards, and a few PINS. Plus you have the app, the keypad, and two mechanical keys. Locking is just as easy. Simply hold a finger on any number on the keypad for two seconds and it locks. Or you can use the app, the keys, of the knob on the inside. I was replacing existing hardware so the holes were already drilled. which made installation easy. You can just follow along with the video, or read the step by step instructions in the manual. You will need four AA batteries to complete the installation which are not included. I have played with mine so much I will probably need new batteries, but it was worth it. ... show more

This lock was really easy to install, set up and operate. We have zero complaints with this lock and love it has the fingerprint open option. Will definitely be ordering more for other doors.
