This is just what our bed needed to get it higher than the upholstered rails of our platform bed. It was impossible to make the bed with the king foam mattress down inside. It was back breaking before. Now it sits up 3” higher and is a breeze to make.

    • It’s impossible to move without losing bars. Stupid design

If I could give it zero stars I would. Putting it together was easy but the minute you move it all the middle bars fall out. Why not have screws for all of them. It’s stupid! The cover doesn’t go all the way around. It’s just so poorly designed.

Although the fit is perfect for my son's bed frame (it's from a crib that converts to a full frame) I was absolutely shocked by how noisy it is! He's only 5 so it doesn't really make much noise with just him but when I lay in it, it creeks like it's going to collapse (I'm 130lbs so in my opinion not really a large enough person to create any issues with the weight capacity). I'm already looking into replacing it cause I'm sure it will drive him crazy once he gets bigger. ... show more

Great alternative to large traditional box spring. The metal is more durable than wood or spring made box. Ability to relocate more manageable than assembled variety. Easy to assemble, varying heights for need, and reasonably priced. I rated a 4 only because the box spring moves around easily on our bedframe.     • Use a Socket Wrench to Tighten the Nuts and Bolts
This was easy to put together, but very difficult to secure nuts and bolts. I could put the frame together by myself, but had to have my husband tighten the nuts and bolts with the tools that were included. He got his tools out and used a socket wrench to tighten everything

I got a wooden bed frame that did not come with slats for a hybrid foam spring mattress. this low platform box spring is perfect! most of the box springs off of amazon only offer 5 inch or 4 inch as the low platform option. 3 inch fits flush with to my bed frame and the mattress isn't too high off the ground. very happy with this purchase!
