This device works excellent! After I ordered it, friends warned me that this could bother my dogs. I was very surprised hearing this and I was a little skeptical. However once I received the lighter I decided to test it. Each time I lit the lighter, my dogs both jumped up, started walking around tail between their legs and just looked scared. I thought at first it could possibly be because it does have a different noise that I could hear and because it was silent in my home the first time. I bought this to light my gas cooktop burners because the igniter no longer functioned. So much easier to use than the sparking flint I was using. I love that it is electronic and rechargeable, and that it has an indicator to tell you when it needs to be charged.

Besides the delivery that kinda sucked but I will mention that elsewhere, the item is cool looking and easy to use. I like the fact that NO gas or fuel needs to be added to this and it works off of just charging it up. Mother had a thought...it entered my brain after she said it.
