The sulfur-phosphorus formula with high-quality additives delivers excellent durability for towing plus protection against gear wear from shock loads. A thermally stable gear lube, Valvoline Daily Protection defends against extreme temperatures, foaming, scuffing, pitting, rust and corrosion. It’s recommended for conventional rear axles and transmissions requiring extreme pressure gear lubes under high speed, high load, high torque and high horsepower conditions, and can be used in non-synchronized manual transmissions where GL-4 is specified and hypoid differentials where GL-5 is specified.
