This is an easy-to-install product as long as you don't have to uninstall. That being said, before you install, first consider if you have your sun visor open or closed most of the time. For me, I don't have a sun bar tint on the top of my windshield, so my sun visor stays opened most of the time. Installing this product with the sun visor in open position means that your eye glasses / sunglasses will be in the right side up position. The reason I advise this consideration is that there is a possibility you may or may not be able to open and close your sun visor freely due to the dimensions of the product versus your car. For me, by installing in open visor position, I cannot fully close my sun visor due to the thickness of the clamp on the product. However, when I read the "correct" instructions for closed visor position, I uninstalled and reinstalled. When I fully opened my sun visor, the clamp left an indentation on my ceiling and over time might wear it down enough to be more visually noticeable. Therefore, I uninstalled and reinstalled a third time with my sun visor in open position and glasses in the upright position. This installation orientation works for me better because although I may not be able to close my sun visor completely at least I can still block some sunlight glare and not cause minor damage to my car. Otherwise, the clamp takes some strength of squeeze to open, but obviously that's the only way it would be able to secure your glasses tightly. One of the main reasons I selected this product was the slick black look as it matches with my car well.

My sunglasses fit in the holder on the roof, my husband's never do. The are big, chunky, wrap around glasses that bang around on the console and are always getting scratched. This item is perfect - we clipped it onto the visor over the passenger side of the car to keep it out of his way while driving, but it is still accessible to him. The glasses stay put, stay scratch-free, and if I could just teach him to take them off before getting out of the car.......

They look nice. Solidly made. Fairly quick to clip and unclip your glasses from. Definitely getting regular use out of these. And so much safer than my previous glasses holder - the front passenger seat!

Pros: *Compressible silicone pads secure all types of sunglass arms, even thick/rounded shapes *Sunglasses will not slip or shift once secured *Visor clamp is extremely strong and will not slide or move once placed *Two holders for the price Cons: *No complaints These are FANTASTIC for my Oakley sunglasses. I tried a different product which was flat with a magnet for securing sunglasses, but it did not work well for sunglasses with thick/curved arms as it did not close completely flat. However, with this product, there is absolutely no issue with clipping them in securely, and I know they will not move once locked in.

Super convenient when your sunglasses holder is broken! I like the fact that these have the silicone inserts to provide extra protection and hold my sunglasses more sturdily. There are other products that just use magnets and don't hold it as well and kind of slips off to the side. A little more pricey for this two pack than others products, but I think it's worth it.
