VEGA is still one of the best Protein powders, and not chalky. However I don't care much for their current flavors. They used to have one with the faintest of grapefruit/vanilla flavors that was a rock star. Still, good quality, decent value and taste. Vegan and easy to incorporate into shakes.

Pros: 1. cost effective on getting a lot of protein with fiber. 2. Good ratings from Consumer Reports on testing for heavy metals and other containments. It's clean and high quality. 3. Mixes easily into water. I recommend 16-20 oz per serving, I find it reduces bloating if this amount of liquid is used. 4. The taste is a coin toss. I personally prefer the chocolate over the vanilla but at the end of the day I'm drinking it for it's health benefits not flavor. It does the job and if you're on a budget you can get a lot of protein, fiber, and iron at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

Really enjoying this protein powder. The vanilla flavor is smooth and creamy without being overly sweet, and it mixes easily in my shaker. I like that it’s vegan and dairy-free, while still giving me 25g of protein per serving. The large tub is a good value too.

It’s ok. Not the best flavor of vanilla. However, it does digest well for somebody who can’t have gluten or dairy. Maybe I’ll try a different flavor next time.

Taste isn't bad, but I have a really tough time getting it dissolved. Definitely need a blender of some sort! Shaker bottle is NOT going to get the job done. It stayed gritty all day, never fully dissolving

This product was delivered on 7/22/26. I opened it today because I still had some left of another Vega Protein Powder to use up. I switched because the version that tasted good had sugar in it. This version is sugar free, but it has Stevia Leaf Extract to replace the sugar. I mixed this powder with the water that I made oatmeal with. I ate it 3 1/2 hours ago and I still have this awful aftertaste in my mouth. I tried to return it, but I am 7 days past the return window. I will never buy another product with Stevia Leaf Extract in it. If you are okay with this ingredient, you might give this a try. I will search for a protein powder that is not only sugar free, artificial sweetener free, and does not use other sweeteners like fruit juice. ... show more
