Some reviewers are saying the alarm is not very loud so I’m thinking the manufacturer may have improved on that because it’s absolutely ear piercing. And the alarm is very sensitive. It’s so sensitive that I ended up disabling it because I kept setting it off just by locking it. It’s a bummer because the alarm is the whole reason I bought this particular model. But, aside from that, the locking feature works great. It’s true there are no instructions, but it’s self explanatory, plus this page has guides for users. To use the alarm feature just install 3 AAA batteries while it’s unlocked. To deactivate the alarm when it sounds, just unlock the device with the key. The alarm will not sound when it’s unlocked. And, as someone else said, when unlocking it, the unit will jerk backwards with significant force, so you’ll want to hold the body firmly when unlocking to prevent it from slamming into your glass windshield. ... show more

    • Easy To Handle/Install; Meth-Heads Will Think-Twice.. If It's possible! A Great Device For The War!
My car was recently stolen and recovered, 1995 Subaru Legacy L. Not the most valuable car these days, but precious to me, for many reasons! I bought this product and feel totally safe. It's easy to use, has an alarm, a RED BLINKING LIGHT, and will definitely make thieves think TWICE about stealing your car. Here's the catch: 1.) Make sure you install it PROPERLY, so know your steering wheel, and how it locks! 2.) Make sure to observe the battery power, so the light and alarm can be functional. It works as advertised. This only issue was the key getting stuck in it while on a road trip. Once I got home I sprayed it with some lubricant and its working fine now. And the alarm is loud enough to make you want to get away from it

    • Not worth the Headache
DO NOT GET THIS DEVICE!! I had to get a locksmith after using it the first time. Breaking it off. I have pictures in videos of it all. The key lock was spinning. And not able to unlock it. The Alarm was sounding constantly. I spent money on this device and another $120 for the locksmith and damage to my steering wheel at that.     • Does not fit a jeep wrangler 2019.
I must return the product since it does not fit a 2019 wrangler. The arm is too long and bumps up against the windshield. It does not work below the dashboard either because of the way the dash is configured. It seemed to be very heavy duty and would be a great product if it fits your vehicle.

    • Bought this for my 2020 Challenger.
I bought this along with the Faraday sleeves also on here that you can drop your key fob into to keep it from being cloned. Between the two it can be a little bit slower to steal your Charger or Challenger.
