Only complaint is that in the description it says “sold through Amazon (free shipping)” but it was shipped by another company and delivery was an unavoidable $19.99 no way around it. I really like this bed, especially for the price. It has a luxe look, and doesn’t have the annoyingly uneven headboard corners that some other upholstered beds on Amazon seem to have. Heavy box, but well packed and everything was included (minus a small screwdriver for two tiny screws - more on that later). I (34 y/o man) put this together on my own in 2 hours. Instructions are easy to follow in the booklet included. All the parts are labeled with stickers. The upholstered parts come in a nice matte finish. Some are better laid out on the floor for assembly. There is Velcro on the slats that go beneath the mattress, which is clever because that allows more flexibility than metal, minus the noise! Two minor nags: 1. The metal elbow thing (pretty standard in most boxed furniture) sometimes had little room for 360 degree movement. You need to pull it out after every half-rotation, then repeat. 2. There are 2 tiny screws which require a screwdriver, BUT these are at the end and I didn’t find them essential to the set-up. ... show more

Material is nice. Bed was very easy to set up great value for the money. The noise level is pretty much nonexistent, which was our main issue with our previous bed frame. The four storage compartments underneath the Bed is perfect For extra storage. We use one for all the bedsheets and the rest for winter or summer clothes depending on season. My only suggestion would be to add a roller track for the storage compartments underneath the bed so that when you pull them out, they pull out directly instead of all over the place. ... show more
