I bought this for my small (65lbs) 11 year old boy. It was super easy to put together I did it alone in about 2 hrs, probably would have been quicker with some help. Everything was right there in the directions if you read them carefully. All the hardware was included. I did not attach it to the wall so it does wobble just a bit, I will need to when he gets bigger but it’s fine for now because it’s wedged in the corner of the walls. It’s really not that noisy I was worried about that with the other reviews I read, but it’s not just the normal noise of getting on and off. I do recommend getting a 5-8 inch mattress if your child moves around a lot in their sleep. With the guardrail being 13” and him having a 10” mattress that wasn’t going to work. We ended up purchasing an 8” and it’s great. He loves this bed. The head clearance is good, I can see it lasting into his teens easily. ... show more

My 8 year old daughter kept asking for a playhouse, but we couldn’t find one big enough for her that didn’t cost a fortune. She basically wanted a space all her own to shut the world out and play. I guess her bedroom just wasn’t cutting it haha. After searching Pinterest for days, I decided to get a loft bed and create a dreamy space underneath. I wanted a loft bed that would fit her room, be sturdy enough to support her growing body, and leave enough space beneath for a place to sit and relax. This bed is perfect. There’s plenty of space underneath to play, and enough room above that she can sit up without hitting her head on the ceiling. We secured it to the wall, and it feels very sturdy. It shakes a little when she climbs the ladder, but not enough to be concerning. To make it even more special, we added curtains and twinkle lights to the frame, and created a little hangout/play area/book nook underneath with a couch, rug, and end table. My husband assembled it by himself in about an hour, so setup was easy and straightforward. The white frame looks great in her room, and this was a very affordable option. it’s a bit flimsy and will definitely require quite a bit of mounting to the wall for any structural stability. But it works perfectly for exactly what we wanted it for, we wanted it so that the kid could sleep on top, but we could still have a daybed underneath when guest visit.

The bunk bed took about 2 hours to put together but would have taken less time if my husband and I didn’t make a mistake. It came with every necessary part and detailed directions. I am not savvy at following instructions but these were not hard instructions to follow. The bed is strong and secure and I am confident it will hold me. I bought this bed for my guest room, and it’s been a great space saver. The frame feels sturdy, and I like that the ladder can be moved to either side depending on the room setup. Assembly took a couple of hours with two people, but the instructions were clear. The desk area underneath is spacious enough for a computer and books, which is perfect for homework or hobbies. The guardrails feel secure, so I feel comfortable with my child sleeping on the top bunk. One small downside is that the metal frame can creak a little if you move around a lot at night, but it hasn’t been a big issue. I had to come back and reduce the 4 stars to a 1 star. If I could give zero, I would. If I could give negative stars for customer service, I absolutely would. I bought this bunk a year and a half ago. The bed squeaks like crazy since day 1, but that isn't my issue. The screws stripped completely when putting it together. Very soft screws. I had it together as a bunk the entire time and just recently my kids wanted the bed separated into their individual twin beds. Upon taking them apart I noticed that both beds had several screws that were pretty darn loose. Unfortunately, they cannot be tightened because they're stripped. I have emailed this company for more hardware and they responded rather quickly. I was told new screws would be shipped out and was given a tracking number. But the "package" didn't move for a few days, so I emailed again. Apparently it was lot. They sent another package out and provided new tracking. The new one hasn't budged and it's been a week. So, I have a bunk bed that is unsafe, unable to be put back together... and I'm out money on something that should have lasted longer than a year and a half. Extremely disappointed. Beyond disappointed. Would never recommend this company! Update on replacement hardware: The "package" with replacement hardware has not been received by FedEx. It's been about a month. The company stopped responding to me. I had to purchase new bed frames from another company. ***Want a solid bed frame? Go with ZINUS! I have had one for 2 years and it's solid. No squeaks. No loose screws. Nice big screws. So, I replaced this trash bunk bed with 2 twin ZINUS Elias platform bed frames. ... show more
