Features

  • Maintain Target PAR Automatically with Light Dimmer Control. Measure real-time PAR and automatically adjust grow light power to keep PAR at your target level. When sunlight increases, light power is reduced; when sunlight decreases, power increases.
  • Keep PAR Constant in Greenhouse Conditions. Designed for environments with changing sunlight. Maintain stable PAR for plants throughout the day, avoiding overexposure or insufficient light caused by sunlight fluctuations.
  • Optimize Plant Growth While Saving Energy. By dimming lights when natural sunlight is strong, the system reduces unnecessary power consumption while ensuring plants always receive consistent light levels.
  • Accurate PAR, PPFD & DLI Measurement. Measure PAR (PPFD) based on McCree curve (400700nm). Record DLI automatically to understand total daily light exposure for plants.
  • All-in-One Environmental Meter. Also measures LUX, CCT, temperature, humidity, and VPD. View historical data via Windows system for deeper analysis.
  • Search "compare" in Q&A to see the comparison between VBR-200 and a brand.

  • Dials in compared to guessing
Used it for certain lighting and works Great. Worth the investment in a tool like this if you're serious about the lighting..

  • !!!Best value in the market!!!!
The VBR 200 is so much more than a PAR meter and is a must-have for growers and aquarium lovers alike. This device dose it all and at the price of your mid range PAR meter.. It's also a master controller and can measure DLI, VPD, PAR and so much more at a fraction of the cost of other controllers.. Set the desired ppfd and forget about it. The VBR 200 is the best device I have found lately and im very excited to introduce it to my clients in the coming months.. I've been in contact with the seller both before and after the the purchase of his product of and let me tell you this guy knows how to stand behind his product! He answered every question I asked of him and was very helpful in helping me understand it's many uses. All that before the sell was made and I have been talking with him regularly ever since. Im excited about this product so much im going to use it in my light demo work and introduce it to my clients and followers.. 10 /10 will order again and would definitely buy again and recommend. Great gift idea if you know someone that deserves it. ... show more

  • Great value, quality product! Great value, quality product!
This meter is highly accurate compared to other name brand meters. The actual sensor itself is very durable and well made. The software is easy to load and works well to track dli. Having the color index option is a nice feature that you don't see on many other meters it really helps dial in light spectrum. Having the vpd sensor is a nice touch as well. Overall id recommend this to any grower wanting to measure PAR at a fraction of the cost of other meters. ... show more

  • Very nice features
Let me start this off by saying, I have no idea how accurate this thing is. I have been using my phone camera and an APP to get relative PAR measurements, but needed something that can measure between different lights. I have a suspicion this is simply a more advanced version of that: The one sensor will gauge the color spectra of the light whereas the other sensor is a lux sensor to get intensity, and then with some internal math will spit out a PPFD value equivalent. I do not believe this directly measures PAR. But that is not a deal breaker at this price. That said, it does seem to handle different LED's well (moving from cooler tone to warmer tone color temperatures), and its ability to tell you the color tone of the light is pretty nifty. The included temperature and humidity sensor is nice, and it seems this can be setup for data logging which is a nice touch. I just need to to read PAR, none of the other bells and whistles. Plug in the meter, turn on the device, and I'm good to go. It does this quickly, and easily. In this price range I have browsed Photobio, Hydrofarm / Quantum Sun, and XAR-P10 from Santacary. The photobio, hydrofarm, and hydrofarm copy (quantum sun, etc) probably all work similarly well to this meter, the Vabira just seems to give you a bit more capability with its additional sensor inputs. The XAR-P10 from Santacary is interesting, but bare bones compared to the Vabira. If you have the money to blow over 1000$ on a true spectral meter, have at it; I am jealous. If you can justify the 600 for an apogee, more power to ya. The Spot On meter slots in below the apogee if you dont quite have 600, but 300 laying around will do. Ill be here happy muddling around in Chinese imports. ... show more

  • Works like a charm, for half the price
Works great, simple instructions, doesnt need to connect to computer like some others. The Par levels seem very accurate, but I don't have a 2nd to back it up (the other review did show a comparison to Apogee which is why I bought it). Comes with the arm and things too, which the others dont...

  • Easy to use, water proof, and accurate, good value too
I have submerge this unit into a 40 gallon reef tank for dozens of time. It didn't leak like the other review said. The sensor is well built, the reader is easy to use, pretty much plug and play. It's a lot cheaper compare to other brand as well.
