  • Can be used without a battery and still function as a waterproof case. Powered by a 9V alkaline battery (not included) with a battery life of up to one year under normal use. The front rubber keyhole cover disguises an integrated micro-USB port to power the unit in case of a dead battery.

I just recently but a Vaultek Life Pod from Amazon. When it arrived, I noticed the cable was shorter than what should have come with it. I contacted Vaultek support, and they immediately made plans to ship the right cable out to me. I believe that it was Amazon that caused the issue. I also purchased a Vaultek Barrikade safe a few weeks earlier and I liked it so much I decided to get the Life Pod too. Both are great quality and perform as advertised! I bought this originally for when I carried in my vehicle. Unfortunately, it’s too small for said item. But this works perfect going down to the pool or out on a trip and you need to lock your keys up and it’s a safe place. The customer service is very helpful, I would recommend this to anyone.
