The media could not be loaded. This was a purchased to secure handguns while traveling and keep them secure. I realize nothing I purchase is fool proof or going to protect the contents 100%. I also own a GunVault which is larger and all metal construction, but less geared towards travel and easy storage. My package included a 19” security cable, which means I don’t have to purchase the “Venture Accessory Kit” for $17.99 just to get a security cable. That is a major bonus as I could careless about the pill case, carabiner and drawstring pouch that is included in the Venture accessory kit. The package includes a “security tether lanyard” which is cord that could easily be cut and probably will not be used. Also included is two foam layers that can be taken out completely or used one at a time. If you are looking to store jewelry or watches, it would be good to leave both layers in. I am using it primarily to store a subcompact frame Glock with one foam layer inserted (to keep from sliding around in the case). The LifePod fits a subcompact Glock without a problem, but will not fit when the gun is holstered. With a holster the LifePod does not offer enough clearance to close the lid, even with the removal of both foam inserts. Lastly, the package also comes with sets of keys to open the LifePod in case of a 9v battery failure (battery is not included) Overall, the LifePod is small, compact and easy to program for a custom 4 to 8 digit code. The integrated latches on both sides help keep the case closed and sealed. I am looking forward to using this when traveling and taking trips. Fits; subcompact and compact sized Glocks without a problem.

This is a fantastic portable strong box. It’s great to keep kids out of your stuff and keeps people from doing the smash and grab in your car. I have a 1.0 and it fits my p365 XL with an optic and the 12 rd mag inserted and the 15 rd mag next to it just fine. Nothing bigger though. A stock G20 won’t even think about fitting. It throws in a backpack really well. The security cable that comes with it is fairly short and it has egg carrier foam. There will be enough for your needs but it isn’t pick and pluck. You’ll have to pay an additional 35 for a lid organizer, pick and pluck foam and 6” cable. They sent it to the lock picking lawyer and he found a security breach and they fixed it. Features I like: electronic security code, side latches so you can have it shut tight without locking it, carry strap, microusb power port if the battery fails, lock can’t be picked, water proof seal It’s as secure as a “portable” lock box can be.

I purchased this for secure storage on the nightstand next to my bed. I also plan to use it for airline travel. It arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition due to very good packaging. It was easy to set up, seems rugged, and works well. I like that it came with extra foam inserts for customized fit for various firearms. The included carry strap and security cable are nice accessories too! I have practiced with it and can get it open and the firearm in my hand in 2-3 seconds. I keep a M&P Shield 9 with laser sight and an extra mag in it. There is plenty of room for that, and it will also hold a CZ P-10 C with room to spare. I like it and think it's good value for the money.

Works great for a secure home and car safe when locked under the seat. If using for a firearm, it fits a compact and a couple mags. It’s sleek and solid. I don’t think this is an impenetrable safe but will certainly take someone far too much time to even attempt to break into it before I’d notice. Just an added layer of security and responsible firearm ownership.

Love it. Good quality. Great for traveling. I even bought a second one for my sibling. I would suggest the finger print version if looking for fast accessibility. This one is great to keep gun safe specially if you have children. Only fits one gun and one clip next to it.

So I had bought the LifePod 2.0 assuming that surely my Heckler & Koch USP 40 wouldn't fit inside of the, "small" let alone fit the gun with the magazine removed (required in California for transport unless you have a CCW) and a spare mag. I liked it well enough, it certainly fit the pistol and multiple mags comfortably. That resulted in my buying the smaller unit in case I carry one of my more compact pistols. Suffice to say after a bit of futzing and faffing about I was floored, I never needed the 2.0 in the first place and unless you're carrying a P226 or a 1911 or something you mightn't need the larger unit either. The thing is huge, the size of this one is MUCH more manageable. Anyhow enough chatter, the above picture shows a full sized USP and 3 mags, that's a total of 40 rounds worth of, "blows a lung right out of the body" moving clockwise from there you've got a Sig P226 Enhanced Elite with 2 mags, next up is a S&W M&P Shield with a single spare mag and it'd certainly hold 2 if you stood them on side and finally a Sig P938 Equinox with 2 mags and again you could get more mags in the thing if need be.
