Great little safe to keep things protected. Medications phones at home great, cable is great too. But put a WD-40 drop right into the mechanism and the buttons and they'll work with magic

Sturdy little safe but would be better if it was just a tiny bit bigger. I stored my prescription medications and passports in the safe during our last cruise. I gave it four stars because the combination lock is hard to open. But yet a must have when traveling.

We ordered this for vacation and haven’t taken it with us yet, but can confirm that we like the size and the sturdiness of it. It functions well; as we have set our combination and tried it out. I feel like this will be useful at the beach. We can latch it onto our chairs. Yes, someone could steal the whole chair, but my worry has always been a quick snatch and run with just my beach bag or keys or phone. If I’m in the water, I might miss that. I’m not missing it if someone tries to take my whole chair. lol. So I think I’d recommend this product and find that it will be useful in certain situations. ... show more

This Master Lock Safe is SO COOL. I purchased this after some little punk stole my cell phone at a park. I set my phone down on a table for maybe five minutes while I was doing something, and a kid walked right off with it. People seen him but did not say anything until after because they thought it was his phone. Living in a bigger city now I decided that I should invest in this product since my boyfriend and I go to public parks often. The Master Lock Safe arrived on time and in a sturdy box. It is bigger than I expected, and I love that! I can fit all my necessities in there. The product details say it is water resistant too, and that was put to the test the first day we got it! My boyfriend and I went to the skate park and locked it to a bench. While it was locked up it started sprinkling and the safe got wet but my phone and everything inside was perfectly dry. There is even a tee-tiny hole on each side that you can run your headphones through if you want. The combination was easy to set and the buttons on it work fabulously. The inside of the safe has a foam like material that helps keep your stuff from banging around. I especially like how it has a lot of room to put your belongings in, but at the same time once its closed up its slender enough I can fit it into most of my purses and it fits in my boyfriends backpack perfectly. It is very lightweight for its size too; and it seems like for being plastic on some parts it would still hold up fairly well. Someone would have to really work on it to bust it open I think. The lock looks impressive but I'm a little worried about the hinges on the other side. I wouldn't use this for an at home safe, because I need something a bit tougher and bigger than this for my home. But it is perfect for setting your stuff down and locking it up at a playground, water park, fair, party, untrustworthy roommate situation, work, etc. Overall this is an excellent portable safe, and I would recommend to others. ... show more

I really wish that I had done more due diligence on this. I actually bought this twice before I came to the horrific realization that this is the biggest source of false security that I have ever seen or heard of. As other reviews have mentioned; it’s INCREDIBLY EASY TO REMOVE THE HINGE PIN. What’s even worse- IT CAN BE REINSTALLED VERY EASILY AS WELL. If someone wants to gain access to your things; they don’t even have to bother with figuring out a 4 digit combination (which is alarmingly easy as well)- they can just use a paper clip, SIM tool, etc. to slide the hinge pin out & back in without you being any wiser. For the cost of this product- you can purchase a similar product with a much better hinge mechanism; though the lock isn’t quite as secure. You’d be better off to buy a clear plastic waterproof container & use a luggage lock than fool with this thing. I wouldn’t even give this to a kid to secure his lunch money…. I feel so stupid… TIMES (2)! ... show more
