I purchased the Cassida 5520 UV for my bar/lounge, where counting cash accurately and quickly at the end of a busy night is extremely important. This machine has made that process much easier. The counting speed is impressive, especially when you have a large stack of bills to go through. The ValuCount feature is convenient, and I also like having UV and IR counterfeit detection as an additional check when handling cash from many different customers throughout the night. The add and batch functions are especially useful for organizing deposits and preparing specific amounts. The large LCD display is easy to read, and the controls are straightforward once you get familiar with them. Before purchasing this, counting everything manually after a long night could feel like the shift had a surprise overtime section. 😂 Now I can get through the cash much faster and double check everything before making deposits. For a restaurant, bar, lounge, retail business, or anywhere that handles a significant amount of cash, this is a very useful piece of equipment.

Will truly count bills. I have ordered 2 other money counters that stated they counted the bills. They both only counted the bills in increments of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100. I needed to count out 25 twenty-dollar bills, the 2 that I ordered would not do that. They both would only count in increments. It wouldn't let me input a number, so I sent them back and found this money counter. It works great. It has a number pad so you are able to enter in the number of bills, and it will also add the value as well. If you want to do odd number of bills, this is the counter for you.

Purchased May, 2022. It is now Dec 1st 2024 and I am now looking for a replacement. For what its worth the Cassida 6600 got the job done. I have a small business with a high cash flow. We use it Daily and by daily I mean 7 days a week. Unfortunately its been jamming way too much now and I will be looking to replace it with a higher end one now.

The product we received is exactly as described and pictured in the product post. Unfortunately, we did decide to return the product because it was just a little too big for the space we had for it, which was our own fault for not looking at dimensions prior to ordering. Cassida customer service made the entire return process very quick and easy and were kind and helpful the entire time. I highly recommend purchasing (of course, check the dimensions!) because you're not just getting a good quality product but also a great support team, and that's worth the price!

I had this item for a little over a year. after sorting the money which usually consists of a lot of ones, fives and twenties I use counter to band the money together. It is usually no more than 6 thousand a week. Everything was going good I was in love with the counter, The top loading makes it really easy to load money as opposed to the front loaders. It's nice that it can detect fake money. It also rarely, if ever jammed. Then all the sudden when I tried to make it count ones it kept telling me the same error code dbl. which means 2 bills were fed at the same time, when this happens you have to take the money that had already been counted out of the holder and start back at zero otherwise it will not start again. The counter was able to get through the 20 dollar denominations with no problem. Then I started on the fives and for whatever reason it kept counting a few bills with the same error code no matter how many times I tried it. So how did I get around this I took those bills out of circulation and manually counted them. When I finally got to the ones, Forget about it. I finally put it together the more worn the bill was the better chance it had of being counted as dbl.. There were over a couple hundred bills the counter just didn't like. I tried cleaning it with those alcohol dollar bill cleaning cards. then with a damp rag. nothing seemed to make it want to count those crappy bills anymore. Just stinks, I would of thought if you spent close to 300 dollars on a bill counter then it would of lasted a little longer. I have this other crappy front loading accu bank counter that is close to 5 years old and still going strong. it might jam if you don't get the bills in just right but after you get the hang of it... I am glad to see I'm not alone, apparently this is a flaw with this brand of counter.

First off, Let me say that I am very satisfied with this Currency Counter. I have read many negative reviews in which people seem to expect way too much from a sub $300 machine. (Please don't hate me for this... Hang in there and keep reading...) If you REALLY need exact counterfeit detection, this is probably not the machine for you. If you are asking for it to count mixed bills, again, this is probably not the machine for you. You are setting your expectations too high. extremely high, I would say, and you are bound for disappointment. On the other hand, if all you want is a simple, YET effective bill counter then this is definitely the machine for you. This was my expectation and maybe that's why I am so satisfied with it. All I wanted was a "Simple" BILL counter, that would tell me how many bills it processed and I also wanted it to make stacks of 25 for me (as when making packets of $500 with all $20 dollar bills). It outperforms in all of this! So for those of you who require "MUCH" more may I suggest to you a super nice system? It is expensive though, but it is amazingly accurate and it is "Bank Grade". It is a machine by Cummins Allison, called the JetScan Money Counters & Currency Scanners. Be warned though, they are about $1,700! For those of you whom would love for it to do "Mixed" Bills? Ummmm, you're not going to have that for Sub $300.... eeem, You should go for the JetScan iFX Money Counting Machines again by Cummins Allison, and Uumm (Cough) they are about $2,700! So, the moral of this review is not to bash on anyone, but to properly inform. Let's take everything constructively. So I repeat, SET your expectations appropriately. You get what you pay for.
