I was able to purchase it in their BOGO offer for their anniversary celebration and maaan, I tell you, run don't walk, to get yourself a set! They are lightweight yet sturdy and definitely child and fool proof! It's quite easy to set up your "finger password" and once it's locked, IT'S LOCKED. But at the same time, it's super easy to access it when press the right keys, in under 3 seconds. Overall, such a great, innovative and well thought box. Absolutely fantastic and well made product FOR THE RIGHT PURPOSES. This is not a replacement for the level security from home theft as a gun safe, and it's not trying to be. It's an amazing, portable way to secure your weapon without restricting quick access when needed. Many use cases, including travel, going to the range, keeping secure in parked vehicle (with cable), keeping at home and within reach but without having guns just sitting in drawers or out in the open for guests to stumble upon. I got the sale (2 for 1) with no regrets. our .45, 9mm, or whatever pistol we secure in the Stopbox. There's no sliding in the "box" with either the weapon or the magazines. I'm telling everyone I know about my Stopbox and how easy it is to use.

It functions well and is a very simple design, also I let my son test out the case and he couldn’t figure out how to open it so it does the job. Like anything else when it comes to firearms, it does take practice to get used to opening it, but I would say my only complaint is it has a little compartment in the full size and the compact that are too small to hold a spare magazine, I assume it’s to hold the extra keys to change the combination. Either way, if they hadn’t put the basically useless compartment in there, I could have easily fit my full size 1911 in the compact box. ... show more

I bought my gun safe awhile ago so I had some time with and I really don't like it all and would not recommend. 1st the opening mechanism is not as easy as shown you need to be flat firm and at right hand angle not saying this cant be done quickly but under stress could be real issue. 2nd I have full-size and compact and neither fit in the box well. The box doesn't latch all the way letting it small tool help force open the box.. I think I could break into under 10 mins without power tools.. 3rd and biggest problem is there no way to stop someone from walking off with which I Will take some blame I didnt look into this when buying it but I cant fix it to my truck so some one cant just walk off it when I go to post office and have to put my pistol away (why I bought it) In conclusion the box is junk but it looks sick do your research when buying it didnt and now I got two junk boxes ... show more
