I've been using the LifePod 2.0 daily for nearly four years with absolutely no issues until today when I needed to replace the 9-volt battery. The battery compartment is well-designed: it's easily accessible inside the container and opens without any tools. However, the actual battery replacement process is incredibly frustrating due to one major design flaw. The wires connecting to the battery terminals have zero slack whatsoever. This makes connecting a new battery needlessly difficult and time-consuming. It's baffling that the designers didn't include even an inch of extra wire length. Such a simple addition would have made routine maintenance much easier. After four years of reliable daily use, this poor design choice stands out as the product's only real weakness. Despite this frustrating maintenance issue, the LifePod 2.0 remains a solid, reliable device that I continue to recommend. Just be prepared for some aggravation when it comes time to change the battery.

I have traveled with this case a couple of times now and it was worth the investment. I know there are critics out there that say they wouldn't trust this with anything of value. But I would counter-argue that this case was purpose built for travel. No, it's not going to be as a secure as a 4 foot thick, solid steel vault. (Good luck to those traveling with something like that! 😂) But to get through TSA, it does the job. (One TSA agent even complimented the case's design and utility during an inspection. It seemed like he wanted to get one after seeing mine. 😄)

Love this product not the price but the product is worth it if you are securing your arms in a portable manner or using this as a substitute safe...the anchoring cable keys & digital options are great! Nicely styled in different colors & sizes battery powered & seals against the elements including water to a point! More people should have one especially if you have a family & cant afford a giant safe or just simply traveling strapped!

Best safe I ever owned. I like the fact that I can basically secure it to my vehicle when I transporting my handgun. It's made out of great materials, feels great, and sturdy. I would highly recommend this safe.
