This is a very nice belt. Thick, hefty leather that will give me years of wear. Plus it looks great and it's comfortable. The ratchet type of buckle or clasp takes a little getting used to. Mainly with pressing the small lever to release the clasp and loosen or remove the belt. But that may be more on me due to my unfamiliarity with this type clasp. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again if I somehow damaged this belt or somehow managed to wear it out. This is moving to being my main belt that I like to wear with jeans or slacks. Thanks also to the advantage of a black belt. So if you need a quality belt at a good price that will wear comfortably, you'd be hard pressed to find a better belt. But I'm sure you could find worse. Order one and see for yourself.

Got this on sale for $7.99. I didn’t have to cut it at all, it fit perfectly. The ratchet is super simple to use and release. It has two ways you can release it. It has lines on the actual belt, that show you the measurements of where you can cut it, should you need to. Plus the instruction manual it comes with. Definitely worth the money, good quality, and seemingly durable.

It feels sturdy and thick, avoiding the flimsy feel of cheaper bonded leathers. The stitching is clean, and the buckle has a nice weight to it that gives it a premium, polished appearance suitable for both the office and casual wear. The ratchet mechanism works great—the "click-into-place" system allows for micro-adjustments (about 1/4 inch) that standard holes simply can't provide. It’s perfect for maintaining a precise fit throughout the day, whether you're sitting at a desk or on the move. What to Keep in Mind: While the performance is excellent, there are two practical points to consider: The Release Mechanism: If you are new to ratchet-style belts, the release lever takes a moment to get used to. I bought this belt for my husband. He loves the buckle design and the belt. It seems like decent quality, we will see how it holds up over time. Its got the carbon fiber look to it which makes it look more expensive. It fits him well and so they are true to size. The belt also has a limited warranty if something happens to it or it wears out for some reason.
