I got this to replace my old shelf and it is so cute! I love it and it’s bottom compartment is great to store extra items. Setting it up, it did take me about an hour to put together and you have to use tools. As a girl who lives on Oahu, I am used to building any furniture I order so it was a pretty easy build for me. I can see it being difficult for those who don’t have the access to a tool box or haven’t built something before. However if you have built things before and have the right tools, the instructions are very clear and there are arrows and labels to help! I definitely recommend if you are looking for a small shelf for an area in your home, it is simple and you can make it your own :) totally worth the price!

Very happy with how this purchase turned out. This looks like an expensive piece (and the stain makes it look like heavy wood). I'm thrilled with it. I will say, it was a bit complex to assemble and I had to call in a friend to help. Lot of parts, but happy in the end.

I really like this Bookshelf! I've been debating on purchasing it for awhile, (especially after reading some of the reviews), and am glad I did. The assembly was easy and quick, and the directions were easy to follow despite being pictures only. The only issue I've noticed is that it's a tad wobbly, so I placed a small sticky felt furniture pad on the bottom of one leg. Besides that, it's fairly sturdy. I specifically wanted something with these dimensions, and the size is nice. It's also quite pretty, although that doesn't really show well in my photos. For the price, it's a nice, functional bookshelf.

I ordered this a month ago and finally found the time to put it together. The color is darker than on Amazon, but it is exactly the color I had hoped for. Assembly was not difficult, although it was missing a few screws. Easily remedied, we had some on hand. I did not run into any problems with the doors not fitting as others experienced. No nicks or damaged areas. I bought this to store cookbooks behind the closed doors, my house is lacking for storage. And to hide TV wires or at least draw attention away from what shows. I believe this is supposed to be rustic industrial but you can easily convert it to cottage, French country, modern, industrial, and even Victorian depending on what you put on your shelves. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and has great utility. The stand is sturdy but if you have small children you could use a wall strap. I’m really liking this Bookcase, although for me, I’m using this more as a piece of accent furniture. It is very well designed and good workmanship.

I love these shelves! Bought three. We use one for books and decorations, and we left the doors off the other two and use them for DVDs. Features I like: - Attractive: looks like real wood - Sturdy - Kid-friendly: wall anchor included to prevent tipping - Assembly is simple: all parts separated and labeled. No written instructions, but pictures are pretty clear if you pay attention to details. - Sold by US company. Features that would improve it: - Written assembly instructions. I installed the sides upside down on the first one and had to back track. (Pay attention to locations of holes on sides.) - Shelf spacing is not adjustable as with some book cases, though I suppose this design contributes to it's sturdiness. I love the product, own the matching end table, and am considering the matching filing cabinet. If it matches your style, I highly recommend it.

This is a great looking bookshelf. It's stylish and functional. I'm not sure about the sturdiness if filled with books. I'll only be using the cabinet to store some magazines and a few stationary supplies. I'll only be housing a few light weight decorative items on the shelves for now. It's on the smaller side too (which you may not gage by viewing the manufacturer's photos)so be sure to note the dimensions and look at other purchaser's pictures for better relativity. The assembly was a snap, with all parts included and perfectly aligned holes. Although I'm very pleased with the product overall, I'm rating this just a 3 because, as you can see in my second photo, they used a strip of black tape to hold together the back wall of the shelf. Definitely don't think this is part of the original design. I was hoping that maybe it was just used to reinforce the piece during shipping, but found that not be the case. The back wall is two pieces and is literally being held together with duct tape! I decided to keep it because this had been on my wish list for months and it took weeks to arrive once I finally ordered it. And most importantly the back of the unit will not be visible as it's against a wall and doesn't appear for me, this flaw will effect the integrity. Nonetheless, I think it's important to note, especially since this shelf was priced a bit cheaper at one point, in the $80 range, and should have stayed at there!
