  • Just What I Needed Just What I Needed
Color: Forest Green Style: 2 Doors + 2 Drawers
I needed additional storage that could fit in a small space and be attractive. I was able to reduce clutter. It was reasonable easy to assemble. The parts were engineered so that everything fits like a glove. No missing parts, extra screws, nuts, pegs, etc. The only issue was that one of the wooden pegs were the wrong size; probably packed by a comedian; Feeling pranked. Assembling this item was the last thing on my to-do list for the day. I was tired, hungry, brain-starved when I did it. So, I got freaked out when the first step in assembly using the one longer wooden peg didn't fit. Other than that, no issues with assembly. It is not heavy duty furniture. However, it is sturdy enough for what I need. Hoping it lasts a long time. ... show more

  • Great cabinet Great cabinet
Color: Dove Gray Style: 4 Doors
Once I decided on this piece, I kind of steeled myself to the assembly process, given the reviews. I have to think the company read the reviews and revised the directions because I had zero issues. If fact, I was very impressed with the straightforward nature and clear pictures included. This is the first item I’ve put together in quite some time that I didn’t have to backtrack on at least one thing. The hinges were especially concerning. I noticed that some of the reviews contained pictures in which the doors were off-center but I didn’t have that issue. No problems attaching the magnets. Everything looks great! This is not an heirloom piece of furniture, but it is great quality for the price. Smooth finish, all the hardware was hefty and solid as a rock. All of the pre-drilled holes aligned perfectly, which made assembly much easier. Everything is screwed together, which produces a stronger bond. Very stable, even without using the included safety feature to affix the cabinet to the wall. I checked the measurements before I ordered it, so no surprises there. Plenty of storage space for my needs. I am seriously impressed with the quality of this cabinet for the price. I would definitely recommend this and/or buy another one for myself. ... show more

  • Perfect!
Color: Dove Gray Style: 2 Doors + 2 Drawers
Needed a small cabinet for storage and this fit perfectly. Went together easily. The drawers are a little small but functional. It had a smell that took a while to go away. Overall, it looks great and it stores what I need.

  • Simple assembly; nice cabinet Simple assembly; nice cabinet
Color: Slate Gray Style: 4 Doors
I recently purchased & reviewed the smaller version of this cabinet (two door, same brand. I put the *description of it at the end of this review) and liked it so much I decided to get this taller 4-door model. I was hoping this one would be as easy to assemble as the smaller one was, and I was not disappointed. The instructions are clear, no missing parts, and it took only a large phillips screwdriver for assembly, just like the smaller cabinet. The only differences between this 4-door cabinet and the smaller one, is that the top of this 4-door cabinet has rounded corners (nice), the two adjustable shelves have more height adjustment options, the back panel screws on with numerous screws, and this one has actual hinges rather than hinge 'pins'. The smaller cabinet uses some sort of wedge-type screw-in clips on the back panel, rather than 2 dozen little screws like this one. Those really made the smaller cabinet quite sturdy. But this one is just fine. It's not wobbly once it's all together, and even better if you attach the anti-tip bracket to a wall. Just like their smaller cabinet, they have all parts separately packaged and labeled in their own little bags, which really makes it easy to see that you have all necessary parts, and you don't have to guess which size screw is 'part M' or 'part B', etc. If you take time to organize everything and take a glance at the instructions first (and pay close attention to them), you'll have no problems. If you lay a blanket on the floor and separate the parts (I put each bag of parts in a separate paper bowl and line them up), and have your screwdriver, scissors for cutting the bags open, and small hammer just in case you need it for the dowels, you can have this cabinet put together in no time. I'm a senior woman, and I put this together with no help in about an hour, taking my time. All parts fit together well; the cabinet doors/magnets fit as they should. The cabinet sits level on the floor. All parts are completely painted, meaning, for instance, the edges of the shelves are painted all the way around - front, back, sides - so no bare 'wood' showing anywhere. Everything is painted. The item comes exceptionally well packaged, and in a much smaller box than I expected - it is heavy though, so if you're older you may need help getting it inside. It's easy to slide around once it's assembled. I'm using it in my kitchen to store cereal, boxes of foil, wax paper, parchment, etc. that's taking up room in my drawers & cabinets. Just be certain it's the dimensions you want; in a bathroom I wouldn't like it for bath towels as it's not really deep enough, imo. It would be fine though for toiletries, wash cloths, tissue, etc. **There's only 2 shelves that you can adjust; the center shelf is part of the cabinet... it's like 2 small cabinets on top of one another. The top of the 'base cabinet' makes the middle shelf you see in the photo where the cereal is, and it's not adjustable. There's one adjustable shelf 'up top', the fixed middle shelf, one shelf you can adjust in the bottom section, and then the bottom shelf that's the base of the cabinet, if that makes sense. The sides are in two sections also. They aren't one long 43.3" piece. But they fit together well and are sturdy. It's a good cabinet for the money, even more so because it's so easy to assemble. (*The smaller cabinet I've referenced is: VASAGLE Bathroom Floor Storage Cabinet, Bathroom Storage Unit with 2 Adjustable Shelves, Bathroom Cabinet Freestanding, 11.8 x 23.6 x 31.5 Inches, Slate Gray UBCB60GY. This 4-door cabinet is the same in dimensions for width and depth, only the height is different). ... show more

  • Totally fine if you like terrible material/instruction quality and love using wood glue
Color: Forest Green Style: 2 Doors + 2 Drawers
If the manufacturer had any standards, the engineer and the designer who worked on this piece and made the assembly drawings would be fired. Their supervisor would be tarred and feathered. It really is that poorly designed and documented. First step is to attach piece G to piece H with 9 screws (9 in bill of materials, not standard #9 screw). Look thru the hardware, each bag is labeled. Where is 9? No 9 bag. Check the BOM, no 9 there either: it goes from 8 to 10. Look for another countersunk screw of about that length, looks like maybe it's 12 in the BOM. Count all instances of 9 and 12 and see that the quantity is about that plus a couple extras. So it's 12 all the way. Alright, that's a bit of an oversight but no big deal, just use 12 any time 9 is called out. At this point, if you're a reasonable person, you're returning this piece of garbage. But, I had already started and finishing with modifications seemed easier than putting everything back in the box so I continue instead. Attaching cam locks to fastener with a manual screw driver (aka butter knife). One fastener starts pulling out of the piece it's screwed into (also with a manual screwdriver, I emphasize this because sometimes folks over torque with electric screwdrivers). Try to undo the cam locks, the one in question comes out fine, the one on the other side, however, not so much. The fastener snags and develops a 30 degree bend near the top of the shaft. All of the "wood" pieces are MDF (medium density fiber board, the crappiest of the wood biproducts, especially prone to water damage, and carcinogenic in dust form), a material that holds a thread not much better than drywall. There are ways to get around this but none are implemented. The fasteners are also soft enough to be bent via cam lock and butter knife. Decide to call the fastener bending a fluke and to continue, realizing that each time a structural bolt is used, a healthy drop of PVA glue will probably keep it from pulling out down the road. Time to attach the drawer rails as shown in step 10. A few steps later and they look backwards if the drawing to be believed. Retrace steps. No, they're attached correctly. It's the drawing in step 13 that has them backwards. O...K.... Then, more crews into MDF; really thin screws, too. Why not just use nails? I digress. Whatever excuse for a thread that develops in the material strips half the time with a manual screw driver. That's OK, I have my trusty wood glue. Finish putting the thing together and, yeah, it looks pretty good. The high-level design, as we call it in the biz, is passable. The machining tolerance isn't terrible either because simple hinges, not the adjustable kind you see on proper cabinetry, are used and the doors line up well enough. That's a win... I guess. But. It's MDF. And it's meant for a bathroom. Sure, most the surfaces are covered in paint, but moisture will ultimately win and, unlike wood or plywood, MDF does return to its original shape after drying. My bet is this thing will swell and become unusable in a month or two, at which point it'll go down the garbage shoot. Well, lesson learned. Never buy from this manufacturer again. I do tend to nitpick lazy or poor documentation. Comes with supervising mechanical designers. But this is not just about the manual. It's poor material choices, bad mechanical design, and an inappropriate fastener scheme. I thought IKEA was bad. IKEA is godly in comparison. One might say "you get what you pay for". I would disagree. Cheap should mean serviceable but with no frills, not outright garbage. ... show more

  • Heck yes
Color: Dove Gray Style: 4 Doors
This is really well made for such a great price! It did take me 4 months to put it together, but that is solely due to reading a review that said that it took somebody 2 hours to put it together and then I had a hard time finding 2 hours. Today I had 2 hours. To be perfectly honest, I did not time myself but I would say that it took at least an hour and 30 mins, but in the middle of that I took a break and went to meet someone for lunch. This piece was ridiculously easy to put together, the instructions were ridiculously easy to understand. I did not have to take it apart to fix any mistakes that I made due to unclear instructions. This is something that happens to me regularly. Not only were there plenty of extra parts (I guess I should save them?) but all of the parts that I needed were included. This is such a rarity that I spend 20 minutes going through every single packing list item before I even think about starting to build in case I need to make a run to the hardware store first. Labeling was done super well, and the stickers come off the furniture easily. The only issue that I had was two of the doors had pre-drilled holes for the metal plates on the wrong side. Since I was already using my cordless drill, I just popped a bit in there and drilled the hole where it belonged. No harm done because it was on the inside of the door where no one is going to see that there is a pre-drilled pinhole in the wrong place. If you don't already have a cordless drill, you don't actually need one to put furniture together but it really does make things a lot faster, so go ahead and buy one for yourself. You can afford one after saving money on this piece of furniture. I know a lot of people don't like putting furniture together, and I am not one of those people. I usually really like it, and today was no exception. Even if you don't like putting furniture together, I think you'd be safe with this piece. This is a sturdy little piece, well priced, and it looks way more expensive than it is. Win win win! ... show more

  • Cute but a pain to assemble & imperfect alignment
Color: Forest Green Style: 4 Doors
Very cute cabinet but it takes a while to put together. The doors were almost aligned but it’s a little crooked due to the screw holes not being exactly in the right place. There are minor defects on the paint and the quality overall is ok but definitely on the cheap side.

  • More amazing than I could have imagined More amazing than I could have imagined
Color: Harbor Blue Style: 4 Doors
I am very critical of products. My expectations are always high. I was surprised by how well made this cabinet is and the blue color is perfect for my decor. I desperately needed extra space in my kitchen. This cabinet works perfectly in a corner of our adjacent dining room. Small appliances have a home: panini press, waffle maker, food vacuum sealer, food processor, electric knife sharpener — and there is still room to add more items. The price is perfect. I am so pleased with it that I will be purchasing the green one for a bathroom. The only negative would be the finish on the knobs is far too shiny for my taste, but that is an easy fix as I can pick out my own at a home store. The assembly was easy. Don’t think twice about getting this cabinet. Buy now! ... show more
