Very happy with this speaker. I bought it as a backup/for work in case my Bose died on me. I'm impressed with the sound quality-not quite like my Bose but it's very good for the price I paid. It was easy to set up and works great.

It's an attractive little wireless speaker unit and the light show is not overwhelming. The unit is fairly heavy, so I'd hoped for good-quality speakers inside it. Sound is crisp, but it seriously lacks bass, even for the 1980s Rock I normally listen to. I was able to compensate somewhat by using the "Punch Bass" equalizer setting in the Power Amp app on my phone. But overall, the sound is still sort of small. I understand this little wireless unit was only $35 and a $135 unit would be much better. But I have some old inexpensive PC desktop speakers from the mid-1990s that just blow it away. I'm still giving it 4 out of 5 stars for design and clarity. But it loses a star for lacking bass. ... show more

I've been using this speaker from the moment that I received. The connection process was straightforward, and Bluetooth pairing happened quickly with both my phone and laptop. The sound quality has been clear and balanced at moderate to high volumes, and I haven’t noticed any distortion. Battery life so far seems consistent with the advertised hours . It also handled a brief rain shower during an outdoor gathering without any problems. The build feels solid and the LED lighting is more subtle than I expected, which I appreciated. Physically, it’s light enough to carry around easily and the included strap has been useful when packing it in a bag. I’ve also used the AUX input a couple of times, which worked as expected. I don’t know what the hype is all about but this speaker is equivalent to a $10 Bluetooth speaker . Nothing special at all about it and the volume is bad , I thought I would be getting a decent speaker, not an awesome speaker but a decent speaker, this thing does not get loud at all , I will be sending it back . I guess I got a bad one according to all the good reviews or… they don’t know what a good Bluetooth speaker sounds like . Look at the size of it in my hand , they make it seem like it’s a good size speaker ! NOT ! ... show more

Meh. Worth the $35 I spent. If I had paid $159 i would have been upset. I would offer, for the size the jbl flip 5 is amazing and only $70. It was well worth the extra few dollars. Pros water resistant light weight loud enough Decent quality build Cons. Sound quality at lower levels is lousy and not the full spectrum. Mostly the highs. Low mids come in better at louder volume but are almost inaudible at lower volume such as back ground music coe studies or working. There are no lows! ... show more

Nice speaker and sound for 35 dollar sale price it is worth the money . At the full asking price of the speaker of 150 range it would be a terrible buy. But for 35 it sounds good and very easy to operate
