We have gone through a few liquid repellent bed toppers for our dogs bed. But every single one he would bundle up in a corner of his kennel. We figured he just didn't like how they felt and so this would make it difficult getting him to go to bed at night. We would sometimes catch him sleeping out in the livingroom carpet or hallway rug. When we first put this crate mat on his bed he was curious and sniffed and gently pat it as if was checking the firmness and after a few minutes of inspecting it he laid down on it. Now bedtime is no longer a hassle. When we say it's time to go to sleep he almost hurries to his kennel. Heck, he even takes his afternoon naps in the kennel too, he never did that before. This is a gorgeous fabric and very soft like my puppy likes. I do believe the sellers pictures are misleading somewhat. It looks like it is a thick padding inside but it is very thin. It feels almost like a sheet of lumpy cardboard on the inside. I added some stuffing I already had from a pillow project and this made it perfect. I do love that the inner part is easily removable so the outside part can be washed without the inner part becoming misshapen. All is easily separated; the zippers are solid and have a pocket so they do not dangle, for ease of taking apart and putting back together. Although I was not initially thrilled with the no stuffing issue, once I stuffed it this became my puppy's favorite bed. It is as soft as she is a warm but not too hot, so she can also lay on it in the summer (inside). The color is a nice shade of grey with cute fluffy hearts throughout. Highly recommend, but be forewarned you will have to stuff it yourself. ... show more

My little man loves his new beds . It was so hot this year and he and I are getting on up in age do finding a cooler place was super great. Looks good on the floor too . My 2year old great grand seen it first and she thought it was hers to watch Bluey cartoons on. LOL

Our dog loves this mat. We bought it for the training sessions at Pet Smart. He graduated from all three of them. Being a chihuahua terrier mix, he doesn't like to sit on his belly on hard floors. I bought the 42” one for my puppy’s crate. I was skeptical at first because it comes with the air completely sucked out of it and it is really flat. Within 24 hours it was soft and thick. I loved it so much I bought a second one for my older dogs crate as well. Highly recommend!!

This bed is super comfy for both our older dog and our younger pup! The cover with the hearts is adorable and I love that you can unzip the cover to wash. This will be a great travel bed for our F-150 so our pups can ride comfortably on trips!
