The couch is pretty good for the price and is a great option for apartments where moving a big couch may be difficult/impossible. It is extremely easy and quick to assemble and I like the flexibility of arranging the pieces in any way I want. I will say that it is still clearly a relatively cheap, Amazon couch. Each piece is a little smaller/shorter than I would like and you can tell price/mobility was prioritized above sturdiness/comfort. But for the money and the purpose it’s designed for, it certainly does the job. The first 2 pieces delivered a day before the last 4 and Amazon/Fedex showed that the whole order had been delivered when I only had the first 2 pieces. I messaged the vendor through Amazon and they quickly replied and provided tracking info for the remaining pieces.

I bought this sofa when it was first listed and there were 0 reviews. I took a chance and inspected the pictures carefully. The dimensions listed say that the couch is 37 inches tall, but they seem to think that a couch cushion counts towards that height. In reality, the couch is about 25 inches tall which leaves horrible back support. You can practically fall over backwards if you lean back on this couch. I have a gut feeling that the back of the couch isn't shown in the images exactly so that customers won't notice this flaw. The other fatal flaw of this couch is that the end corners don't have the same support screws as the middle sections. The middle sections aren't that bad, they have 3 places that the back attaches to the seat and they're fairly sturdy (not as sturdy as a traditional couch, but pretty good for what it is). However, the corner pieces only have 2 places that the back attaches to. The result is that the arms and backrest on the corner pieces just sort of flop around. You get the feeling that they'll snap off at any time if anyone puts any pressure on them. Details aside, after I put this couch together, I got the sinking feeling that I had made a huge mistake. I should have ordered a couch with more positive reviews. I think this will be the last time I buy something on Amazon so new that it hasn't had time for reviews to come in. Anyway, customer service was helpful. Both on the Amazon side and the third-party-seller side. I can't fault the company for being responsive to messages, etc. I think they need to rethink this listing and modify the pictures and descriptions or maybe just remove it entirely. This one is a dud.

Shipping/assembly: The couch shipped on three separate days, in two boxes each. Each of the sections (chair piece, ottoman) comes in its own box with its own set of instructions and tools, which is nice in case you accidentally throw the others out. The instructions were pretty clear, though not all of the pieces were labeled, so you kind of had to just match it to the picture. I was able to assemble each piece by myself with no problem. Each piece isn’t too heavy so I could easily pick it up and move it around as needed. After having the couch a couple of weeks, I have noticed I probably need to go back and tighten some of the screws that attach the back to the seat of the couch, as they seem to have gotten loose already. A note on the cushions–the packaging says to allow them to fluff up for 72 hours since they are vacuum-packed into the boxes. I’m sure that works best, but I noticed them mostly at their full size after only 2-3 hours. I needed to use the couch right away (couldn’t leave it sitting in my living room for 72 hours, as I was having company) and it was fine to sit on and looked fine after a couple hours. Comfort: The couch is sturdy and very comfortable. The fabric is soft, but it is not the crushed velvet kind of fabric that some people hate the feel of. The back and side pillows are nice and squishy, and the seat cushions are firm enough that you don’t feel like you’re sinking into them. I have actually really liked the side pillows because it means you don’t even really need throw pillows. Construction: My only complaint about this couch (and the reason it’s not 5 stars) is that the back pillows are taller than the rigid back panel of the couch. Meaning, if the couch isn’t up against a wall, the back pillows sag a little and don’t have much support. I have the couch dividing up a room, so this was a bit of an issue for me. I got used to it fairly quickly, though, and it wouldn’t be an issue if the couch was against a wall. The couch truly is modular. It comes with enough connectors that I could arrange the six pieces I have in nearly any configuration I can think of. Some couches say they are modular when you can just flip the chaise from one side to the other, but this couch can be arranged literally any way you’d like. You could attach two ottomans together if you wanted. Overall: My husband and I were looking for months for a sectional couch that was in our budget. I was hesitant to order a couch I hadn’t been able to see and sit on for myself (especially one with no reviews at the time–which is why I’m writing such a lengthy one), but I’m very glad we did. This is a fantastic couch for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

So it’s too low to the ground in my opinion. It’s kinda tough. Not comfy. Too hard. But it looks ok. I bought some more throw pillows and I am going to buy a cover. But it’s not very comfy. Hoping it will wear in as we use it. Wish I would’ve saved a little more and got a nicer couch. Oh well

I bought the couch a few months ago, it was too short, bought new legs. The back is not tall enough so it must be against a wall. I would NOT buy it again. It is comfortable enough but it won’t hold up well.

I got this sectional a few months back. I was skeptical about the quality since it was less than $500. I opened the box and was once again leery about the quality. Don’t judge a book by its cover. This sectional is roomy AND comfortable. I was sick recently, for a week and that is where I slept the entire time. I’m considering on buying a couple more pieces to expand. Also, I like how you can easily take it apart for easier transport if you move (I will be soon) or to another room. Probably a great option for those who live in apartments. All the cushions have removable covers to easily throw in the wash.
