I was finally able to save up for a bed for my husband and I, and I came across this. We’ve been tight on money so I wanted to make sure I would spend on something worth it and let me just say this bed is so beautiful ! I have no complaints other than it took me five hours to build, but keep in mind I had never built anything in my life 😂 and my husband was not here so I wanted to surprise him. It came with all the parts but I will say two of the steps showed the incorrect numbers for the parts needed of the bed in the instruction manual, but I was able to figure it out because I was almost done and I was able to assume based on how the parts looked in the photo. It took my a while to figure out how to start because I was confused of whether or not to screw in the camlots but you do! That’s probably just me not ever building anything so I wouldn’t have known until I watched the video of how to build it, that is shown when you’re viewing the product. Other than that no complaints at all after I understood what I was doing it was very easy to build I did buy a small power drill and made my life easier. The bed is beautiful and amazing quality for the price! I got a size up since we will be sizing up on our mattress as well! I put four stars for how easy it is to assemble only because it would really benefit to have someone help you!

This is the review I was looking for when I purchased this frame. I ordered this frame when it was on sale for $270 and its very well worth the price. To start- when I ordered this bedframe, my shipping did not update the entire time, it said it was out for delivery in another city, and then showed up at my house an hour later?? It came in two separate boxes (labeled 1/2 and 2/2) and only one unreliable tracking. HOWEVER, when I received both packages (on time) everything was there and neatly compacted. I was pleasantly surprised. I waited till my days off to set everything up so I had plenty of time and motivation. Now, the instructions were kinda hard to understand. But if you pay super close attention to detail (and fix the occasional parts you screw in backwards) everything will line up. I’ve seen some reviews of people saying things were not lined up, and I can say our looks fine as long as it’s assembled correctly. Our assembly team was me and my husband. It was a little frustrating but not as much as I was prepared for which was a relief. However it did take us 4 hours to assemble.. if you have multiple people, maybe bring some extra screwdrivers and Allen wrenches to make the process quicker. The typical slat bed frames are usually not the best, but overall these seem like they will hold up, as long as you don’t have two grown ups jumping on it lol. We’ve only slept in it once, but the parts have “noice canceling tape” and we sure didn’t hear anything while breaking it in. We also placed a rug underneath. It’s not super heavy, so able to be slid to clean under. None of the screws came out on the other side of the particle boards like I’ve seen in reviews. They all seems stable. (Maybe some wood glue for the wooden pegs?) one of the doors seem just a bit to big to slide freely, but I feel it could be shaved down to create ease. It works fine if I pick it up at a slight angle tho. The drawers are probably the biggest downfall. The wheels are super slick so they slide around at the slightest touch. They line up evenly, but again, easily slide out of place and look “messy” they are not fully wooden they are exactly as the other reviews say they are. Mostly just a obstacle for my cats to hide behind. The whole underneath is hollow so definitely a playing ground for pets or small kids (it’s fairly short, I wouldn’t worry about injuries) the gap is not to large, my 8in mattress fits with about a 1in gap. I also found out very last minute while putting the slats in that I put one part on backwards in like the third or fourth step and was able to correct it without taking the whole bed apart and I’m very thankful for that. Over all I’m very happy with my purchase for less than $300 I definitely got my moneys worth.

Update: This is our second order of this same bedframe. It's been about a year and a half since we got the first one and I've left the original 4-star review below. What we received this time around is DEFINITELY not the same bedframe!!!! Missing a part, wrong parts, missing screws. Not only that, the cam locks do not tighten the pieces together whatsoever! The screw in portion of the cam locks is too long, therefore when tightening it never really tightens. When the headboard is as fully as constructed as possible, huge gaps are the result. The part manifest shows 1x piece of part #20, but the construction calls for two. Two 'A' screws were missing - manifest says 6 are shipped, but instructions call for 8 of them. Two pieces #47 are included (one with a hand-written number on it), but neither one is drilled correctly! Please see photos for reference (the original purchase photos are still there, too - you can tell which ones are the new ones). Even if the headboard was good, the bottom drawers are wire baskets! Our first one had solid wooden drawers, which is what is still displayed in the product ad page. So, totally disappointed, and at this point with the bedframe 90% "built", it would be very difficult to rebox. Amazon will not refund the purchase and says we have to deal with the seller. Shame on Amazon, and shame on the seller for replacing a really nice bedframe with this substandard piece of junk. From 4-star to 1-star (couldn't go lower) in just a little over a year. Original review: So, we went to a few local places looking at king-size bedframes and mattresses. WHOA! The prices are astronomical! So, back home to Amazon we go and we found this bedframe. After seeing the prices in the stores, I thought this one wouldn't be good at all. I was wrong! It's actually very nice. Very sturdy, attractive, the doors slide nicely, and it doesn't look or feel "cheap" in any way. It arrived about a week earlier than expected (the two boxes arrived a day apart via FedEx), so the two of us got right to assembling it. Took awhile - probably the better part of 3 hours. We went to a local mattress store and found a Stearnes & Foster king mattress that was "scuffed" in transport for $299! Fits perfect on this bedframe, and the whole bed set really makes a difference in our room (we had a queen size previously). The price is amazing for the quality you get, and at the time of purchase, it had a $100 coupon which covered the shipping 100%. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is how the drawers "lock" in - you kind of have to lift the drawer up and manage to get it in the drawer catch slot. But, the drawers are completely solid, not wire baskets, so that's a big plus. The outlets and USB ports are super handy and work great! All in all, VERY happy with the purchase and would definitely buy again and probably will for our downstairs master bedroom.

I enjoy this queen platform bed very much. Base frame is very sturdy and the headboard accomodates what I need. All parts were available when assembling this item. It accomodates two stereo speakers on top with room for other decorations. The storage cabinets are very handy and the shelves between the two doors makes my remote controls very handy. Nice bed frame.
