I recently purchased the King Size Platform Bed Frame to upgrade my adjustable bed to something more sophisticated, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have a Sealy Essential Split King adjustable base, which measures 79.5” in length and 75” in width. This frame fits my adjustable base snugly while still allowing full functionality. If you have a base larger than mine, it might be a tight squeeze, so keep those measurements in mind. One thing to note is the height of your adjustable base platform. Mine has two leg size options, and I opted for the shorter ones, which look better with this frame because more of the headboard is visible. However, the shorter legs mean the adjustable base barely clears the side support legs of this bed frame, so make sure your adjustable base platform (the part your mattress lays on) is at least 10.5” off the ground to avoid any clearance issues. Assembly was straightforward and took about 45 minutes with just one person. If you’re using this with an adjustable base, you can follow steps 1-7 of the instructions and then skip steps 8-13 entirely. A couple of tips to make the process smoother: In step 1, ensure the fabric on the frame pieces is facing down toward the floor. This includes the “D” pieces. In step 7, if you’re struggling to attach the headboard sides, start with the middle hole, tightening it slightly, then move to the top hole. For the bottom hole, you might need to loosen the sideboards a bit to align everything perfectly. The bed looks fantastic, especially for the price. It’s a stylish and sturdy upgrade that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to elevate their bedroom décor.

This bed is such a great value. It was so easy to put together. It is very sturdy, it doesn't make any noise. The fabric looks so luxurious at such a great price. I highly recommend this bedfram.

As other reviews have said, it is quite soft, beautiful and sturdy. However, I did NOT find it that easy to assemble, I did do it solo though. Beginning at step one the directions were a bit unclear. If you don't have a power driver with allen wrench bits I definitely recommend it since there are a TON of screws. Due to the unclear instructions I put the side boards on backwards, causing visible holes. I am going to take it apart and fix it, but the problem is that I screwed through the fabric on the other end too so that will show, hopefully it won't be as bad and hopefully can be sewn and hidden. But be careful!! Look at every tiny detail in the photos..

I absolutely love this bed. It is very sturdy. It’s not super tall. I do feel like if you bought a shorter mattress then it would make it lower to the floor. I would recommend a 12 to 14 inch mattress. If you’re getting a 12 inch mattress get a 2 inch mattress topper that will give you a nice balance. That’s what I did. I was able to assemble this alone. I am not a handy woman, although I teach myself everything.

I can’t get over this bed frame - it has totally elevated the look of my bedroom. I’ve had it for about a year at this point, and have no complaints whatsoever. The color is true to the photos, the frame makes no noise, it’s very sturdy, and it was easily to assemble. Especially considering the value for money, if you’re debating, BUY IT.

Best bed ever!!!!!. I was a bit skeptical about ordering this velvet bed through Amazon due to and unpleasant past experience. But I must say! Best risk I took because this bed is AWESOME! I love its design, color, material, and size! It is definitely super Sturdy! The best past is its height! I was double guessing whether it was going to be too low for my liking, but it exceeded my expectations 100%. You want to get your money’s worth? This is a great option!

I am incredibly frustrated with the purchase. I am on step 2 of the assembly process and came across a problem with parts labeled “D.” the holes for the screws are too big and are going straight through the frame while not holding the pieces together. This is causing the frame to be wobbly. I am now having a problem receiving a refund because this is a 3rd party seller from Amazon, and they want ME to take this heavy ass box to a return place before I can receive my money back. I had a difficult enough time bringing it up to my apartment as is. Lesson learned, but please save yourself the headache and choose something else!!!
