My god the dumb hype around old technology. Not all their reels are made in the USA and it’s not a small company anymore… the biggest problem is the reel is advertised as a rugged and water proof/water resistant. There is almost a myth around this company with online videos of people finding reels in the ocean many years later and the reel working perfectly fine…. What a bunch of crap. I fished it 155 days last year the gears on the teeth are grinded away and the bail fail. The worst part is they won’t cover it under the warranty and it too much over 3 months for my reel to come back. They can blame covid all they want but my daiwa reel came back in 2 weeks. ... show more
