There are a lot of good reviews here, but very little actual information. I figured I could write a review that goes beyond "fits me well" and "husband likes it". Coat is a breathable synthetic. Very modern and repels rain ok, but not for long periods. If I was going to spend hours outside I would chose something else. but the style and cut is great for in and out, and snow. Fit: Here is the information that no one seems to be offering, including the manufacturer. A size medium is 21 inches arm pit to arm pit. That's a size 43 in US mens. A size large is 23 inches. That's a size 46 in US mens The coat is 36 inches long from the top of the collar to the bottom. This is a traditional length for a trench coat. Not in style any longer, but for those seeking a more timeless who cares look it's a good fit. OR, if you are 6 feet or taller (like the model) then this length will fit you well and be stylish. I'm only 5'9" and the length is just below mid thigh, so too long for me. The sleeve is 26 inches from the peak of the shoulder to the cuff. That fit me well. Ultimately I returned both the medium and large because the length is too long to be in style. Hope this helps. The coat is made very well and a great price, it's just too long. ... show more

This is a really nice and well made jacket! I’m not sure what people were expecting with regard to the material, but this is an all-weather soft shell jacket, and a quality one at that. It’s mid length and falls mid thigh, so a bit longer than your average waist coat and can be dressed up or down without a problem. This is a slim/athletic cut jacket, so order accordingly. At $100 this would be a great coat, at the sale price of less than $30 it’s an absolute steal! Just ordered a second in another color. ... show more

It's a good coat for fall and winter. I do not think it is very useful to humid climates but to keep you warm from the cold is excellent. I like the finish, the details, it's an excellent product, my ranking is due to the fact that the shipping service is lousy; gentlemen, this is a coat, it's not a t-shirt or a undergarment. It's not difficult to put a hanger on it to prevent ir from wrinkling. My order arrived rolled up and crushed inside a bag, so I have to figure out a way to fix it, all because the packing "Gentlemen'" don't do their job well. ... show more
