I compared many of the available step ladders on Amazon and finally settled on this one. I wanted a high weight rating, four steps and hand rails. It has been awesome, we have found things we had forgotten we had on shelves in the back of the panty. It arrived mostly assembled; we just had to add the side rails. They provided decent instructions and hardware, but it was pretty intuitive. The feet on the base of the unit swivel and allow you to make a stable footing, the rails provide excellent stability for a senior climber and the upper bar offers one more point of stabilization. They include a neat little project bag at the top, but I removed it so I had one more rail to grab. I did have a problem with the label. They have a very, very solid plastic card with the brand name. The label on mine was not fully seated into the recessed area, so when I reached to pull myself up, the firm edge of the label caused a scrape across my wrist as I pulled up. The label was easy to remove, but something to be aware of. All in all, this step ladder has been an excellent purchase. It is stable, has good reach and the side rails are perfect!

Very sturdy and well made step ladder. It feels solid when standing on it and does not wobble at all. The steps have a non-slip surface, which makes it feel safe to use. Easy to fold and store without taking up much space. Perfect height for reaching upper kitchen cabinets and other household tasks.

I would have given this five stars but I had to enlarge a hole for one of the bolts as it didn't line up. That said I love the steps. My wife feels better as it has a handrail so she feels it is safer for me. It is a lot easier to handle than a full size step ladder and safer than a step stool.

I used this ladder just as soon as I got it assembled and that was very easy. The mgf even included a small screwdriver and wrench so you don't have to look for the right tools to do the assembly. It was easy to fold and carry. I got brave and stood on the top step to reach some items I had stored on the top shelf of some cabinets that I built years ago. For the first time, I actually felt safe reaching that shelf. I even took the time to straighten the items in that cabinet. I really like the handrails and top handle. It feels sturdy and very well built. The weight wasn't too heavy for me (I'm 77). I have several other ladders, but as far as I'm concerned, the money was well spent for this ladder.

First I buy the ladder and it is so unstable and twists Two people fell off due to this. I tried to get a refund. I no longer have the box but I do have all parts and instructions for the ladder. Now I have to buy a box and pay $ 60.00 to return a ladder I paid $ 1i5.00 for which is more the half of what I paid for it. I can't use it and or give it away so I spent $ 115.00 on a piece of crap that I have to throw away.
