I bought a 100-year-old house almost three years ago and have since struggled to figure out what to do with my narrow front entryway. I have tried several boring shoe mats because I need function before style, this is my main entry point after all. I initially tried a runner rug from my previous home but it was too long to fit under the old door that needed to sometimes be closed off leading to the kitchen. Later, I tried another runner that was 2 feet wide and would end just before the french doors to the left of my entryway began. However, the rug looked cheap and was a bit too narrow to compliment my space. It made it feel smaller. After a few more measurements and searching, I decided on this 2.5 x 8 ft runner, which has it ending after my french doors but just to the edge of my kitchen door, allowing it to still open and close. It ends up really creating a warm and welcoming space because it leads people into my home to the bench seat and allows all of my old-fashioned doors to function. Rather than working against my cool vintage space, this rug enhances it. I'm also very pleased with how soft and thin this rug is. It grips the floor well without a rug pad. Although it was fairly inexpensive, it very much feels like a formal antique rug. My only complaint is that it is not super easy to wash, however, I feel for the quality of the product I've received and how much joy it brings to me each day, this is a fair trade. ... show more

I love the muted fall colors in this runner for my kitchen. Very soft to the touch and I love that it is machine washable and has a nonslip backing to grip the hardwoods, eliminating the need for a rug pad. Vacuums easily with my Dyson cordless vac. Haven't washed in the machine yet but am hoping it holds up well and maintains the gorgeous colors and soft texture. Came folded in a box but the creases were completely gone within a day. No odors. I love this rug! I originally looked past it because the color name is “peach/yellowish”, but this rug has a lot of blue in it, which is what I was going for. Looks exactly like the pictures and is sooooo soft! I’ve already washed it and it air dries pretty fast, too. Only slight problem is just that the edges have a little bit of fraying after only having it for three-ish months but it doesn’t bother me any.

I am so happy with this area rug! It has such beautiful pattern and I adore the color scheme. I bought it for my home office and it’s just perfect. I did buy a non-slip pad for underneath the rug because of my office chair rolling on it. It’s very soft too!

This is basically a microfiber blanket with a no-skid underside. It's *very* soft and *very* thin, so you'll probably want to invest in a thicker rug pad for more comfort/rug-like look. Even though the material is as un-rug like as you can get, the pattern is well printed and actually looks like a real rug. I was initially put off by the texture, but I can see how it might be more resistant to cat fur/food spills/dust/etc than a traditional pulled rug, which just traps everything in the pile. It came folded up in a box, so was creased on arrival, but those settled out after a day or two on the floor. Will be curious how it tolerates washing. ... show more

I love this rug!! It is super pretty and really elevates my Livingroom. I love how soft it is! The best feature is that you can wash it. I have dogs and I love that I can toss it into the washer to be cleaned. I have washed it twice now. It holds it shape and I haven't had anything negivate happen from washing it. I have the large size 8' x 10' so I actually take this to the laundry mat to wash it. It won't fit in my washer, but it cleans up great! :) ... show more
