    • Great for Striker 4, doesn’t fit Old Town Sportsman 106 stock track

Nice fit for Garmin Striker 4 fish finder. Most important thing to note is that the track mount bolt does not fit the stock gear track that comes with Old Town Sportsman 106 paddle kayaks. But for $30 less than the mount sold by another well known kayak accessory brand, I will just buy a file to reduce the diameter of the non-threaded part of the track mount bolt as another reviewer suggested. This is the only reason I’m giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. As you can see in the photo, though, even without filing the bolt I was able to mount the unit, it just wouldn’t slide farther into the gear track. It worked for the first outing, but I’ll feel more secure once I have modified the bolt. Needed to buy some new hardware (M4 nuts and nylon insert locking nuts) to mount the rotating fish finder base that came with my Garmin branded portable fish finder kit (the zipper bag that comes with a battery and plastic base for the battery and fish finder), but that was no big deal. The ball mount arm allows for nice adjustability of the fish finder screen angle. Installation was easy and I like that it came with a track mount as well as a permanent mounting base in case I decide to mount it directly to the hull of the kayak. Overall, I think this is a great option for the price, and I recommend this product over the other one that is more than twice the price. ... show more

    • Nice ball mount terrible hole spacing
Barely fits my garmin striker 4. The holes on the mount are spaced a little further than they should be meaning you gotta use some small hardware to make it fit and the bolts sit a little slanted putting stress on the garmins plastic mount. if the holes were all moved like 1mm in this mount would be perfect. After a little convincing with a metal file it fits. ... show more

Very easy to install and operate. Used it in my boat to hold my phones with an adaptable holder. Holds true and steady. Even in rough water or hitting heavy wave action or engine and boat vibration. I’d recommend this product.
